im liking what im seeing! hope belf comes here fast
I wish that along with new models for races Blizz decided to include certain details unique to each class. So far they have done a great job, but for example they could include antlers for Nelf druids, which most druids in the comics, novels, etc seem to have. Maybe a little more muscle tone for Warriors, or even make them a little taller. Rogues could be a little shorter (to sneak up and go unnoticed). Mages could have tattoos or magic markings in their bodies for power... stuff like that would make customization a broader, more fun and varied process. Maybe even certain skin tones for specific class, as this already happens with Death Knights. Keep up the good.
So far all the females models now are looking great I really cant wait to see the Trolls though. Lucky Allies!
I don't like the new model that much...I think the old one is better.
Not happy. Love my nelf. Don't like this. If you're going for butch warrior, that bosom is too ample for a typical athletic built. If you're going for realistic and using a human skin tone, then what's with that black goth lipstick? If you're going for realistic why do we need canine teeth? She looks more like a piranha than canine. Sure, a nelf can have bear or cat form, but there is also tree, bird, manatee. King Varian Logash Wrynn has a mouthful of chiclets that are so perfectly even that they look like dentures, not even human incisors. We do need the nelf to have a pair of buttocks instead of a single round ball. The only change I'd really hope to see is getting rid of the gaping fish animation, the mouth opening and closing for no apparent reason.
Don't like thisThen you are lucky, since you can make it so that it has the original models if you dislike the new ones. If you're going for realistic why do we need canine teeth? Because Night Elves were described with fangs a long while ago and it's nice to see it come back?
wow nice improvement, well done! though I can't understand why people are disliking the new models.....at the least they're "HD" versions of the current ones so why the @#$% would you call them ugly? one a sidenote.....can we have some male spotlight too? and since I already said male.....can Belves have any facial hair other than a teenager goatee? (just look at Nozdormu!) I guess I could say the same for trolls and undead, though I know not everyone likes facial hair.
yay purple belfs :O in all seriousness nice work blizz
I don't know why they give us any sneak peaks anymore. I mean, it's very big of them; seeing as people rage at the EARLIEST concepts that are in no way finished yet. I'd say you babies got your enlarged canines now, but if you had any common sense, you would have realized you never lost them in the first place.
I have to ask, why the hell do NE's have fangs now?
They look so good! Their hair looks like real hair! I'm loving all of the updated models so far, but this is what I've been waiting for. ^_^Keep it up bliz! <3
I dont like how they have six-packs D: but still Cool
Lol those fangs thought o.0 (like my teeth have noticeable canines but seriously)Besides that it looks pretty neat..
I have to ask, why the hell do NE's have fangs now? They always did; they are finally added in after being described as part of the race since Warcraft 3.
Don't expect a lot of changes on the blood elf model. Like the Draenei one, the BC Blood Elf model was an improvement over the vanilla ones and will only incur small changes. Very curious about the trolls, though.TBC was released in 2007 and the character models can be considered about 6-7 years old. They're not as blocky as vanilla models but (are blocky and) they are certainly showing their age compared to goblins and worgen - for one I'm fairly sure the belf ears or Draenei tails/tentacles are also separate geometry like in the ears of the current night elf model. They probably also lack a fair number of "digital bones" that the new models have, and can't be made as expressioning or fluid in movement as the new models are because of that. So I'm frankly expecting the TBC character models getting as much of a revamp as the vanilla models. And dredging up some blue answers and other forum posts, they will get updated, just likely not right away at launch but during and as parts of WoD's larger content patches. So I'm thinking we probably shouldn't expect any news of them until near the expansion launch or sometime after it.They always did; they are finally added in after being described as part of the race since Warcraft 3.Actually the current Nelf model does have fangs as well. Tiny little white meshes you can see if you watch very closely at an NPC's face when they do the talk emote... Obviously not nearly as defined as the new model has, though.
They should make the female models have wider hips and even more booty. I almost feel bad for them with their lack of booty. Why not make them in the form of J-Lo and throw some blue or purple skin on them a call it a day.

Over all it looks pretty good except for the fact that she's now more flat-chested, instead. Reminds me of going from Barbie to Skipper. Not happy about that.
Yeah those two female models do have the hips but they still lack the armor stretching booty. I think anyway can't tell with the tail in the way.
