The zone looks great and i can't wait to see it. The draenei architeture looks astounding and even more interessing is the presence of night elves wardens. I am truly anxious for this zone.
That map looks quite different...
"Don't eat the mushrooms..."Everyone is going to eat the mushrooms.
Judging from the screen shots of the Orcs, it seems that the "Bulwark of Azzinoth" will make a reappearance as a new-skinned item.
Looks so good!
That map looks quite different...Remember that when Gul'dan screwed around with Fel magics, he literally forced a volcanic mountain to rise up out of the ground. This is why the mountain is named the "Hand of Gul'dan".The Draenor we're looking at is before Gul'Dan went all interior decorator on it, so it will naturally look very different.
Note that we set up garrisons in Frostfire and Shadowmoon. And we set up outposts in all the other zones, except Tanaan Forest.Given that both Horde AND Alliance get chased out of Tanaan Forest and crash-land in their landfall zones, I guess we know why we don't get (at least for the first patch) outposts in this last zone: The Iron Horde uses it as its stronghold.
I can't wait to see images of how the temple of Karabor looks on the inside. All the datamined images so far were from previous alpha builds were the inside of the temple was untextured and empty. I hope they've made enough progress so that we can have an idea of how the interior of the temple will be.
I like the herd of dino-elekk roaming around :D
WOW, Blizz spent a whopping 5 minutes on the draenei peoples...so, will the next pack after this be about the alliance? The place looks great until the orcs do what they do best....
Personally I'm very excited about the night elf area and the hints that we may meet Faerie Dragons and loot their eggs eventually for cute pets!
-Akama runs into the room"Karabor is not safe!" He exclaimed, "There is an traitor among us, and he touched my tail!"
Garrison is all mine? I'd like my dwarf buildings. Dwarf inns are the best inns.I really dislike the elf stuff going on in the zone. Frostfire looks nicer to me. Even though I like how dark it is, just the fact the elves get another zone is enough to annoy me.
Looks really great!
The sheer size and scale of the place is incredible, and it’s remarkable to see it in its glory before the events of The Burning Crusade, which turned it into the Black Temple under Illidan’s control.I thought it was Magtheridon who turned it into something demonic and ugly, and that it was already that way when Illidan took it over from him?As with all places on Draenor, Shadowmoon Valley is filled with sights to see, adventures to be had, and savage enemies to destroy. Enjoy your journey! You mean, areas that players will perceive as having to "grind through" as fast as possible, "annoyingly" without a flying mount, relying as much as possible on any portals available and spamming LFR instead of questing? And then if in the future anyone tries to claim there was beauty to exploring the area, they'll be told they're just "looking through rose-tinted glasses"?

Gul'dan is the single reason Shadowmoon Valley went from the pristine utopian garden it is in WoD, to the lifeless scorched wasteland it is in TBC.I really dislike the elf stuff going on in the zone. Frostfire looks nicer to me. Even though I like how dark it is, just the fact the elves get another zone is enough to annoy me.Funny, to me its the opposite. I'm kinda disappointed in the horde starting area. Not that I think its bad or ugly, its just so........ mundane. Its all jagged rocks and snow everywhere. And where there isn't snow, there's magma. Shadowmoon Valley looks absolutely stunning, and unique, a true visual candy, where everything from the sky to the surroundings have this ethereal, magical, fairy feel to it.In contrast to the desolation in Frostfire Ridge, where there's not a tree anywhere in sight, no meadows, or grasslands. And the very jagged spiky shape of the zone isn't very inviting. I mean, Storm Peaks is also very snowy but it looks gorgeous, particularly due to the titan ruins everywhere. Frostfire Ridge just looks like your everyday zone, and its the least interesting one in the entire continent for me. I would had very much preferred that the horde had Nagrand (which has heavy lore ties to TBC) or the Tanaan Jungle.Ohhh well =/
Looks good. I'm personally more of a fan of the brighter lit, non-gloomy areas of wow. And I couldn't tell a difference between the first and second audio samples offered on this page. Overall I'm pumped for this expansion, as I am with every expansion.
Really exited bout this, cant wait to start exploring
