There needs to be a way to see latest forum posts.
Knew the nerf was coming. This is going to hurt the idiots who don't know how to play and force them to adapt.
As all nerfs, it usually affects people who can't adapt. I welcome these changes , personally. As for the format changes, bravo. It gives the site a much needed fresh wind. There was nothing wrong with the old design, but this one is more eye candy.
New design has a nice feel, but I really miss the "Trending Cards" section. Seeing those three recent cards was always a nice way to spark new deck ideas or just a good reason to go check out card comments for a card I hadn't really considered before. Here's hoping you return that feature.
The new design itself is actually quite nice. The only thing is that it makes this feel more like a "newsy" site and less of a utility, database, toolset site. I personally view the wowhead family of sites as a fantastic resource (best on the web for WoW since way back before the site was sold), but the utilization of that resource is almost always in a search function or database browsing capacity. I may be one of the old crowd who remembers Thottbot before wowhead took off, but wowhead took the informational database for a huge game with millions of pieces of information and presented it in a way that was easy to navigate, filter, search, etc. The shift to a more news-centric site layout is not really a good idea, in my opinion, but that's just me. I love the gradual evolution of the sites to include user-created guides and especially the deck-building options for Hearthstone. I think focusing on the features that other sites can't compete with is the way to go, not showing the same news that other sites show but in a cooler layout. Everyone's got news. Only wowhead/hearthhead have the sort of database tools that really set them apart from the rest. Focus on those! My two cents.
