Will you also be reporting on all the other stuff that was revealed?
It was really painful to watch someone play as a warrior for the first time. Their clunkiness in discovering how the class worked made me aggravated, and I couldn't get a good sense on how some of the new talents worked. It still looks nice regardless.Exited about the things to come! Thanks.
Added in a DK change.I am so sad that person didn't mouseover the new rogue talent ><
Does that mean we can make real mountain kings getting both stormbolt and avatar? woop woop
Fire and Brimstone with Chaos Bolt?Do we become raid bosses in WoD?Logically, though, it's likely to cost more than one burning ember to pull that one.1 Ember for the Fire and Brimstone trigger + 1 Ember for the Chaos Bolt itself (probably)Would be a nice addition since I usually find myself hovering between 30 and 40 Emberbits when doing Fire and Brimstone: just add in a Chaos Bolt every time i hit 40 and then continue with Incinerates and Conflagrates to build them up again.Considering the same talent boosts the Ember regen of those spells, you might be able to alternate them without dropping too low.Adding in Backdrafted Chaos Bolts... Let's say it's good they're doing the number crunch :pFor aoe, 300% increased ember generation from incin and conflag could mean you are casting a fnb chaos bolt every other cast. Depends on numbers of enemies you are attacking and crit%. Definitely interesting. Much more so than the new Demon Bolt. I was looking forward to permanent demo form.
Warrior: The level 60 talent Bladestorm is now a level 90 talent. The level 90 talent Storm Bolt is now a level 60 talent. NOOOOOOOOO ! :((((
New talents are interesting but you have to remember how far away we are from being anywhere close to finalized. They were changing MoP talents basically up until release. As for the tuning, it's hard to compare with the impending squish. This is very true, and it's good to keep in mind that Blizzard kept tweaking the talents substantially (even adding new ones) throughout MoP's official release as well.Anything that seems particularly lacking or particularly broken will likely be fixed at some point.
Anything that seems particularly lacking or particularly broken will likely be fixed at some point.Unless you're a mage... Then you get "these talents require too much work and changing to do in a small patch, we will look at these at a later date, possibly in the next expansion"... GG.I do like the Bladestorm changes though, shouldn't effect PvE too much but it will make all the difference in PvP. Warriors might have to actually make a choice in that tier of talents...
Not really sure about the switch between Blaestorm and Stormbolt..... Oh well, at least the new lvl 100 talents seem interesting. And the Breath of Sindragosa for DKs seems promising as well. Those videos by Inven are interesting too. The new character models look awesome in action! Maybe I can finally remake my dwarf and play her!
Sadly I'm still not impressed with the Breath of Sindragosa talent.Sure the healing will be nice, but it still doesn't proc the level 75 row talents. Unless those are reworked, or the talent somehow procs them, its still a massive DPS loss. Its still also not good for Unholy. Or blood. Its pretty much only good for Frost, and even then its a trade-off.
I'm a bit disappointed by the loss of endless metamorphosis, I was looking forward to that. Still, I can work with it.I like the sound of Ignite Weapon, though.
I'm a bit disappointed by the loss of endless metamorphosis, I was looking forward to that. Its not really gone though. And in fact I prefer this version a lot more. The older version gave an infinite metamorphosis, but the tradeoff was a HUGE loss in damage, this time though you get a spell that costs 30% of your CURRENT demonic fury, not max. And once used, the next time you are below 50 DF, you get immediately 300 DF.Now think about it, if you have 100 DF left, this spell will cost you 30 DF. You use it, and then continue to spam touch of chaos, once you're below 50 DF, BOOM, you get 300 DF effectively boosting your metamorphosis uptime. Once you get to about 100 again, use Demonbolt again, and keep repeating this process for an infinite metamorphosis. It takes more careful planning and management of your resources but the end result is a permanent uptime on the transformation, WITHOUT the massive damage loss the previous iteration of the talent came with.So all in all, this is a good change. The spell doesn't even have a cooldown, and unless its casting time is too big, it deals quite a decent amount of damage too.
why are the noobie warriors moaning? i use storm bolt and bladestorm so the swapping of them wont be an issue. oh yeah sorry they are pvp arms. typical
Dear Perculiais there a way to see from the first time we saw the lvl 100 and ALL the changes that they got uo to recent days ?or we have to look for the specifc page and check the wowhead news back then?
There are some warrior changes I like. The two new abilities certainly sounds better than earlier, but why did they move bladestorm all the way up to level 90?. Is it because they didn't like warriors popping bladestorm and bloodbath at the same time followed by a staggering shout when bladestorm ends? And now that stormbolt is moved to the level 60 tier, how will that impact my choices between dragons roar and stormbolt for pve?
warrior video, in bottom of main text has nothing to do with warlords. its lvl 90 chinese guy running around Timeless isle with his lvl 90 chars. cosmetic stuff, yea, but who cares bout it much!
i just seen a blue post saying it will be required to have a silver medal rating to do the heroics in warlords of dre tanks/heals. mages warlocks priests arent unable to complete all three roles in proving grounds.
Seriously? You put Bladestorm and Bloodbath on the same tier? Blizz stop screwing with stuff that doesn't need changing....They may have taken Blood Bath + Bladestorm away, but now Dragon Roar and Bladestorm can -both- be taken.I approve.Besides, Storm Bolt fits with the level 60 talents because both of the other ones stun.

Let's say it's good they're doing the number crunch :pYep, just with this talent incinerate already lowered by 60%, with Fire and Brimstone it will damage as a lvl 1 peon.
They needed to make this change to chaotic. The 25% for 400% more chaos bolts was a funny idea, but it would have DESTROYED lock aoe (pun intended). I feel like this won't be a cookie cutter talent as long as blizz makes cataclysm not suck (make it an aoe cc or something), and make the infernal/abyssal and doomguard/terrorguard not suck. I have very high hopes for pvp with abyssal/terror, but it may just be a dream.
