I would honestly find a whole lot more interesting if I was any good at PVP. Personal preference aside. the new season's gear looks amazing.I wish a lot of luck to the PVPers.
I think I see or a typo or I'm really confused as to what changes are being made this season. "The four celestials on the Timeless Isle now drop ilvl 550 Season 15 PvP gear" yet the tool tips below say the ilvl is 540?
The gear models are Grievous and they are reused, with color changes, for Prideful Gladiator gear. The gear was datamined last June at ilvl 540 and was changed during the 5.4.7 PTR to be ilvl 550. If you're still seeing ilvl 540 instead of ilvl 550, it's a cache issue.
That makes sense about the tooltips. Thanks for the clarification. Although I can't believe they are just reusing the models for an entire season. That's ridiculously lazy.
So do the Elite recolours really require 2000, or is it going to be 2200? I was trying to find this out for S14 and I heard both answers in equal measure, especially on gear pages on Wowhead.
When will wowhead reflect the 5.4.7 changes?
5.4.7 changes went live this morning. Updated transmog sets, itemsets, and Same Model As were visible last week as the gear was added in a previous patch. If something isn't showing up, it's due to cache.
I'm seeing ilvl 489 items from Mistweaver Ai. New items from vendors takes longer to process as it relies on user uploads.
We're working on a solution right now to get the tooltips to update faster since ilvl 540 PvP gear could be confusing. Should be visible for everyone later today.
•BattleTag™ or Real ID friends are now only able to send 10 chat messages every 10 seconds over Battle.net® chat. User Interface Add-Ons should use the new send function and receive events to send communications information.Basically means if you use oqueue, prepare to be annoyed with continuous text scrolling saying "The number of messages that can be sent is limited, please wait to send another message." Blizzard this is highly annoying. I don't quite see the benefit of adding this in the first place? Can you please elaborate why this was brought about?
I would like to point out that WoWhead's database shows these all as 540, instead of 550. Is this intentional like with the legendary capes or....?
Does anyone know if the Tyrannical Gladiator's gear is still in the game anywhere? I wanted the mail caster belt for transmog and in a sleep deprived haze forgot to buy it Monday night.
As a PvE:er who doesn't have 550+ gear it might be good to start pvping again to get some gear so i can enter normal SoO soon. Right now, to even enter a normal pug you need to have 550+ gear lol.. the requirements the players set is way too high to let people who arent in a raidteam join a pug and get some experience (even if they know the tactics, if they dont have an achiev for killing garrosh normal they dont get invited...).That's probably why I really dislike the ilvl and gearscore, people are fixated about gear level instead of the skill, sure the items help a lot, but if someone can't play their class it's no use. Even if someone has an achievment, there's nothing to be sure of they got by themselves as a lot of sites and guilds sell boosts for SoO Normal/Heroic or even Challenge modes.Anyway, I hope this might help my druid get a bit better gear and a good excuse to start pvping a bit on my warlock again. :)
I noticed something.. on the warlock gear. I'm pretty sure that the 3rd set used to be the colour for Horde as i have that set on my warlock. I checked it up to be sure and yes, it is. Just a heads up for the wonderful people of wowhead! Peace :)
