Do you get boost on profession if your character is level 60, but with only 1 in each profession?
News sites are already reporting the level 90 boost. From the picture, it's going to be 60$ USD.
What mount skills do you get? I'm guessing it's 150% and flight licenses for every place? And anything about the reputation with your faction?
I've also heard that character needs to be level 61+ to get the boosts. Can anybody confirm these?
Normally, I buy the regular game, the one you get a cd, and when it gets cheaper, I buy the collecters edition too. But does this mean that none of them covers the 90-boost, and I HAVE to buy the digital version too, to get free boost?
Does anyone know when this character boost to 90lvl will become available in EU live servers ?
Its too much... WAY TOO MUCH! lvl 90 instantly.... I guess I could live with that... but the rest of it... NO F**KING WAY!.... in all honesty lets be real, it takes what maybe a week maybe two if your going slow to hit lvl 60. You then just stop and PAY TO WIN at this point, all that is required is you pick your 2 main prof. and lvl them and all your secondary profs. to skill lvl 1 and apply "Boost". You are now a lvl 90 with a complete set of 483 gear, FOUR count them 4 Embersilk Bags (500-700 a pop on my server usually), 150 gold (not really a big deal id accept this as part of the lvl boost), plus if you did what I said and lvl to 60 you now have a fully maxed out profession tab (does'nt mention pandaren cooking). This is just entirely way too much to be giving out and is just a huge slap in the face to the rest of us that had to EARN our way in game. Get ready for economies everywhere to take a nose dive... Enchanters and tailors seem to be taking the hit the most from what ive seen so far too... Maybe its time to put away the sewing kit and shake the dust off my robes as seeing Blizzard is hell bent on ruining multiple aspects of the game all in pursuit of more $$$... Maybe its time to just move along and find a game that doesnt cater to the weekend warrior or lol fail pay to win loosers... That is if they even exist anymore =/ I may have done my fair share of complaining about lvl grinds and camping and the like over the years but honestly I miss the old days now. Back then it may have taken a long time to get a drop or single piece of a set from a raid but you got a feeling of pride and accomplishment, and chances are there were'nt 100 other people walking around with the piece either.. (not to mention you knew they were'nt a weekend warrior if they had said gear too) I dont know anymore... Ive actually been playing FFXI on a private server that is retro XI, 75 cap no increased xp or any mod and same rules as SE back in the 2004-2009 days basically I log into WoW to do a couple dailys and sell crap... I could improve my char a bit more but not all too much and it just does'nt feel like its worth $15 a month anymore... (maybe $5?) Especially with all the "changes" they are planning on rolling out soon... And the next xpac? Copy and paste of a previous xpac with some artistic changes basically... Yeah i'm loosing my affection for WoW bit by bit not that i've been around for years on end like some people but still i'm getting very disillusioned in general with it =/
Do the free lvl 90 boost that come with the expansion include the professions boost too or is that only for the ones u pay for.
So it looks like the Timeless Isle isn't going away, I had thought they would remove it due to the new xpac. So I wonder if the Timeless Isle will turn in to another Thunder Isle that hardly anyone visits anymore.
I think the level boost is focused more towards those who have a few toons already and are just making another toon to get another profession. Or at least that is what I'm doing, I was done leveling with 4, but there is a profession I didn't have and wanted. I think this is a good way to get those one or two professions that you always wanted but just didn't have. And while yes, I'm sure some new players will be like wow, I just got level 90, they won't know what they are doing and most likely spend a lot of gold on repairs, or we'll be seeing them in Trade or General chat begging for help. I just hope Blizz fixes the bugs before this xpac comes out, I'm sooooo tired of having the same issues for months just to always be told "it's a bug, and the developers know about it". Just my 2 cents
-spits- this disgusts me...Blizzard sickens me; charging outrageous prices for all these "services". Don't you dare think for a second that I'm some ignorant dolt that knows nothing about the Business world either. Businesses exist to make money, there is no doubt about that, but to rip people off due to their own ignorance? (Yes, people that drop real money on this stuff left and right have some kind of a problem) That's just wrong. On the other hand, why should I care about people that don't even realize they are being taken advantage of? The reason is simple; because it affects me. When it comes time to do a server xfer, for example, I have to pay a ridiculous $25 if I want to xfer all because of a mass spread of ignorance. Or if I wanted to buy a mount, $25 as well. It's absolutely absurd; anyone that works with or around databases or works with or around IT professionals, or is an IT professional knows that these "services" are almost completely, if NOT completely automated, take very little time and literally costs blizzard pennies. Charging for them is fine, but a more reasonable price should be in order. At the very least, all items and services that blizzard sold in the past didn't give players any advantage or any particular bonuses in game...until now, it seems. Well...that's what I think anyway, and I may be wrong, and quite frankly, I'd sure feel a lot better if I was. But I don't see how I could be too far off from the truth....at any rate, I'm sure all of Blizzards mighty defenders will take up shield and sword to defend them as they stuff their pockets with your money. I'm picturing a bunch of Blizzard fans in armor with shields and swords standing in front of Blizzard's CEO and the board of directors as, at the same time, the board is literally pulling money out of their protectors pockets...it's quite an amusing and sad image. :P Take care everyone! Don't hate me too much, please. After all, I'm really not such a hateful person myself, just slightly irritated at all the injustice in the world, both small and large...but HEY! I could be wrong, and that would be great! :D -waves-
It's a 60 dollar charge so it's not trivial. That is a lot of cash to drop for one character. However...it still doesn't give any 'bonuses'; the boosted 90 get's 483 green gear, and unless you are boosting a level 60, they will have no professions or other items. If they are a level 60, they'll get a profession boost to MoP cap...not WoD. If you have a 90, this does not affect you.
I can't wait for the 90 boost i really want to have a druid lol
