For The Nerf!
Iron Skyreaver So tempting!Bring on the nerfs!
dayum! that blackfuse nerf goes way beyond "balancing" in my opinion
Hm. Those Galakras nerfs...;P
If matters continue to go that course than by the end of the expansion everyone will be able to solo SoO...
dayum! that blackfuse nerf goes way beyond "balancing" in my opinionConsidering even in 10 man you pretty much HAD to 4 heal it when starting off attempts, it seems a bit warranted. Siegecrafter was the biggest stopblock probably before Garrosh. If matters continue to go that course than by the end of the expansion everyone will be able to solo SoO...Any guild that could easily clear normal has done so like...a month or two ago at the longest. I'm pretty sure these nerfs are just the version of the scaling buffs/debuffs to final raids that Cata/WotLK had, which is par for the course since they don't want more casual raiders getting frustrated grinding the final tier on normal long after the progression guilds have full swept/nearly killed heroic 14/14. It seems like this tier will be going on for a bit, so why not?
dayum! that blackfuse nerf goes way beyond "balancing" in my opinionConsidering even in 10 man you pretty much HAD to 4 heal it when starting off attempts, it seems a bit warranted. Siegecrafter was the biggest stopblock probably before Garrosh. You definitely did not have to 4 heal siegecrafter on 10, in fact if you were to 4 heal it you would almost definitely hit enrage unless you super outgeared it (Which then why would you be 4 healing?.) I personally wanted to try out all these nerfs but my guild is extending for heroic garrosh progression. Pre nerf though Siegecrafter was definitely a 2 or less heal fight. There wasn't so much constant damage (Unless people were failing), there were more bursts of damage (Overloads mainly.)At least in my opinion (I haven't tried the fight post nerf yet.) the nerfs seem a bit much to siegecrafter. The thok nerfs make sense. Even though heroic thok took way less attempts than siegecrafter, it was a more frustrating fight in a 10 man without many raid cooldowns. The Paragons nerf is w/e. Less chance of people dying during fiery edge is pretty nice. Overall I think the nerfs are fine, just maybe a bit too much nerfed on siegecrafter.
Dang, got all excited about the Iron Skyreaver being on sale, when actually the headline should have read "for sale". Oh well, maybe another time.
"Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough." Og MandinWith the invent of "Determination" in LFR I'd rather see some use of this mechanic in regular and Heroics than nerfs. Example: starting 1/21, there is a Maximum 5% determination buff on all fights (x5 multiplier). So we can do fights as designed/intended, if we win great if not we get a 1% buff that can grow to 5%. Then at a later date you can up it to 10% with 2% increments. It gives groups the chance to see/win a fights unnerfed as intended (optional guy to turn it off too like LK). Yes there are some road block bosses, let our determination get us through them but give us a chance to see how we fair (unnerfed/aided) on later bosses.Personally I know my group will not get some bosses without "aids" (regular let alone heroic). However it would be nice in March/April to get a 1 shot kill and reminisce how we couldn't get him without wipes & determination.
