If Human females is this amazing i can't even imagine what female blood elves are gonna look like. ^_^
I like the changes. What I am hoping to see is the ability to have all the races hair styles available to everyone. I would love the green gnome pony tails on my human warlock for that sense of fun and playfulness. The whole...I'm a light hearted behbeh eater who likes to walk to the beat of my own drum. :)
Is it just me, or does the female gnome's static expression go from intensely focused, with jaw set in determination to creepy overly attached girlfriend grin?
Nicely done. She's beginning to look more... human.Im liking the way the hair is and the model.Cant wait for the Male human, the elves, and female Tauren.what about Blood Elves and Draenei models?
Oh sweet jesus why? I like the old models they have a retro feel to them...You'll have the option to stick with the "retro" models if you wish :p.
exactly what i am worried about, fur races don't have problems with the skin, but the face affects all, they are doing a great job but it MAY not fit many player's liking if the changes modify the look from the original. oh well, can only wait and see the results
I guess I am just genuinely surprised people see this as a negative when to me it's one of the first positives I've been excited about in years. Its an inevitable part of the internet, doesn't matter who does what where, someone somewhere somehow will dislike it.Even the most grandiose most genuine spectacular and innovative creation ever made will always get those that say something negative about it.Personally, I like the level of detail shown in all of the models. I'm very grateful they're finally being updated (Honestly, humans and orcs currently look like ported out of a PS1 game compared to how the Pandaren or Goblins look) and frankly, my one very tiny concern is getting a "Before/After" for the faces.Which face will become what. Because even if its very detailed, on most of my toons I chose those faces due to their particular facial expression. Some faces have a scowl on them, others have a smile, others a more bland look, others have heavy makeup, etc. The transition from old to new needs to keep in line with how the old one looked, so a face that previously had a scowl needs to keep it on the new and improved version, and so on for the other permanent expressions, otherwise I'm gonna feel a little sad to see my character's face changed. That's my one and only gripe. Other than that minuscule concern, I really do love all the work they're pouring into these models and can't wait to see them in action. Of course, in the case of the male blood elves ANY change to their face would be welcome, since they have like 5 faces that are 99.99% identical. Male Dwarves have a similar problem in that a large part of their face is covered by the beard. It is my hope that among the revamps they include different facial expressions for each character.
Oh sweet jesus why? I like the old models they have a retro feel to them...This is a really good thing and i'm happy with that, that means the money i spend for playing this is really going somewhere which makes my game better and better and keeps my eyes on Blizzard, same reason why i discard playing free online games where u cannot see anything new. if you dont like it just go to the barber shop..
Looks great. Keep up the good work. =)
Will there be a scale; for example an undead male character where you can make them either skinny like the way they are right now or be able to scale them up bigger to bulk them up a bit? Just like in the game Saints Row where you can scale your character's size. Bulking up/skinny/fat etc. If so will be be available for all races?
I think the new models look amazing ! I have played WoW for years now and always wanted them to redo the characters to make them more life like. They are really doing an amazing job. I loved when they posted that video about how you can op in or out for the models as well. That way if someone likes the "retro" look you can keep it. And people who want the new can enjoy! Good job Blizz ! this is the first thing I have been really really excited about in a long time for this game.
I love the new character models... It looks like the female Humans got a perm or relaxer!
So beautiful! :D I am so excited to see the TROLL models! :)
Oh sweet jesus why? I like the old models they have a retro feel to them...I do not think the devs att blizzard had ''retro'' in mind when creating.. you don't want your CURRENT mmo to feel retro.
Every game have to change tecnologies grows so the games too, i trully love the warcraft old style makes my game an unique experience but this improvement makes it better, hahah the only thing i realli liked to change is when a blood elf jump looks like a ballet dancer lolllll.. please take a look on that.. hahha that has to change lololll
This looks amazing. The rugged edges are gone, her feet actually look like feet, the hair styles look amazing.I'm having a moment of awe here.
Blizzard said that they will add a feature for players to choose wether or not to use the new models. But you cannot say, I want the new dwarfs and the old orcs. You can only say 'old' or 'new'.when was this? do you have a blue post stating this?
Actually blown away by how great they look! Most of my characters are Female Humans. I am so excited for the change! Great job guys! :)
I was already excited about WoD and the new models but seeing this adds so much more excitement. I can't wait to see the rest of the races especially the elven races as well as the trolls.... OMG so excited!
