Moon Guard is going to love this news.
Oh sweet jesus why? I like the old models they have a retro feel to them...You'll have the option to turn them off.. You're not forced by any means to take the new models. I find it amusing that people only learn what they want to learn, and not everything about a particular topic.
Needs a fuller face as well. She looks sunken in and sickly in comparison.
Please do not do that to the Tauren models. It looks too...clean. Like a stuffed doll. The older models look "dirtier" and more rugged. Its part of the reason my first toon 5 years ago was a tauren and he is still my main today. Just imagine that thing with the current voices. It looks like a care bear.
Well keep in mind how stiff human females are now, they'll probably have far more fluid movements in comparison
Have been keeping an eye out for the new models pictures so its real nice seeing them all collected like this and they look great, can't wait! :). Just love the forsaken! Hadn't seen the pictures of the female model. Only issue i will be having is my favorite armors will look so bad texture vise hehe.
Am I the only one that hated the fact that the chest and leg pieces stuck to the skins of the characters and moved with the skin too? Will that be changed with these models to make it a bit more realistic?
Anyone else think Katy Perry whenever they see this new model? Idk why....
The Gnomes and the female Dwarves look amazing and I am really digging on the changes to the Undead. They look like the character sprites have some definition and not just short boxes with colorful hair or sickly colored bony sticks figures. Bravo on those. Human female, major improvement in getting rid of her permanent "dull-surprise" expression. Hopefully, when she emotes it will give more depth to her face. Not sure I like the changes to the male Dwarf, something doesn't seem quite right with the face but I can't put my finger on what is bugging me about it. And I'm not liking the male Orcs - he looks like a soulless, smooth-skinned Incredible Hulk. I think if the designers had defined his eyes a bit more, I think that would have given him a bit more depth. Can't wait to see Blood and Night Elves and the Trolls!
FAP TIMES are coming
wow. these look awesome. i know they've saved the best for last, i just cant wait for the night elf reveal and i hope they do something about their 2h melee animations
you're worng, it is only the "T" pose here, no expressions, no actions, no movement
the eyebrows need to drop a 1/4 inch and the breasts need to be lifted about an inch or 2.other than that, looks great.
So are the players going to be allowed to redo their face and skin color once again? Because every face is changing. What if we're happy with the old face on the old model, but don't like it on the new model?
I like it but why do I get the feeling I'm going to be in the market for a new graphics card?
Wow, the human female looks like Xena in some of those pics. Great job Blizzard :D.
Oh sweet jesus why? I like the old models they have a retro feel to them...This is a pretty dumb comment. Retro is for people who can't come up with anything new and so they look to repackage old stuff - something that will not help this or any other game continue its success. The new models are a welcome and much-need improvement, and Blizzard deserves credit for (finally) updating the visual elements of the game to 2014 standards without giving up the essence of the original art.
In my opinion, the hair looks too choppy and layered, the nose looks way too tiny and upturned, other parts of the face look different in general (smaller lips & different eye color among other things), and a few of the hairstyles look very different (is that supposed to be the Blood Elves' curly hair on the bottom right of the first screenshot? WTF?). And where did her breasts go? I was hoping the model update would stay a little more true to the original design... it looks like they're changing her face and hair to look more like current "trendy" female character styles that I don't care for (innocent, young, angsty girls) instead of basing them completely off of their original design.Other than that, I like the thighs and body textures, and the graphics are a lot better (of course). So while I'm a little disappointed, I'd still rather have them updated. Updated models are the main thing I'm looking forward to in WoD.

If you didn't pick it I think you'll be fine. As for her breast, might just be me but it looks like she's getting support finally.
The face felt wrong when I saw it the first few times, something just didn't feel right about the general tone of the new one vs. the old one. But looking at this again, it's starting to grow on me. Most of the female models we've seen thus-far look a bit startled. If they're adding in more detailed facial movements, it shouldn't be like this constantly. With the subtle changes in eye-lids that you can see with the higher-poly Pandaren faces, I have high hopes for not looking stoned constantly. My biggest issues with the existing female human models (and keeping me from playing them normally) has been the neck-down anatomy. And this right here, is such a wonderfully marked improvement on the old ones. The chest on the existing one is...natural, but the armor models just don't fall on it attractively. Some of the hair-interpretations shown here, I'm not terribly fond of. (But none of the ones I use are up, so doesn't bother me much. Not like most people consider all the hair styles acceptable for a single race.)CANNOT wait to see the female Troll's model. I really hope it looks like Mar'li -- and that more than one face becomes usable.
