Excellent change, it'd be awesome to have these as spells kept in a page like mounts and battle pets. Nothing quite like Shadowmeld and Archmage staff macro fun (:
Okay they have to make the Flag of ownership go in the toybox, paying 80 bucks for a TCG on only one toon has always sucked, now having it for all my toons... awesome.
I think equipable items will be changed, like Gnomish X-Ray Specs - just click to use!
Don't you have the option to use that flame-cat thing from Firelands? I know it's not quite the same, but it's definitely cool and class-specific.
blah, i already destroyed some of these items cause i have no room.... :(
i will fight now
Umah Guh! what a good idea! I carry two royal satchels around with me full of toys and every piece of soulbound gear is in void, this will free up 50-60 slots.
Please don't forget about items that can no longer be obtained, like Dartol's Rod of Transformation
"We'll be keeping an eye out for quest items that players have been holding onto for fun and won't convert it into a quest item so it wouldn't go away."Does this mean I can still keep and use my Dartol's Rod of Transformation?Edit: I posted this right before I saw sephyre's comment. :/
I'm really looking for this! My bank, my bags & my void storage are all full of items! it's about time to free some bag slots because I really don't want to delete any of the precious items I have :>
This is awesome and all but what I really want is a place to put all my tabards. With all the faction tabards and the ude points tabards 50 something spots in my bank are being consumed. Itd be nice to have something like the title tab where all my tabards are listed.Yeah, I've been wishing that they would make a "closet" for tabards and holiday clothes. I just started deleting my outfits because I ran out of room. :(
The main problem with 'just run the quests again' is that at least some of those quest chains no longer exist. There are many things I'd like to get that I can't.And what about things like the Rainbow Generator? I don't think it will be included...
i got allmost every toy on game included tcg, ITS ABOUT $%^&ING TIME that i have room at last, im now with 4 free spaces on bags, all of them included bank with epic bag 28 slots, im so happy to get room at last in wod, omfg, im HAPPEY DAMN :)
I'm so excited for all the improvements to come im WoD. Really, I never felt that excited for nothing to come in this game and I play since the first months of BC.Blizzard, you are doing it RIGHT.
I did not understood his answer when he said "You should hold onto your items." for the TGC card. Does it means they will still be in our bag ?Based on his other comments, I believe he means that they are currently undecided as to whether those items will remain specific to the character, or if they will be moved to the Toybox where all characters will have access to them.As he states:"We haven't determined what will or won't be considered a toy and recommend that you don't vendor or delete anything just yet."That particular question was confusing because Rygarius's response didn't really answer the question asked, possibly because the question wasn't specific enough and he misinterpreted what was being asked. A player had a couple loot cards that he could redeem for in-game vanity items, and (I believe) he was wondering if he should redeem them now or wait until after WoD launches. I can't see the harm in redeeming any loot cards now EXCEPT in the instance where you already have the item on one toon and want to add it to another, as the Toybox should (in most cases) do this anyway, and you can then give away or sell additional loot cards., they will be superfluous for anybody with just one account.Aside from that, I can't see any reason to hold off on redeeming anything, they have stated their #1 priority is making sure nothing disappears and I don't see any reason to worry about this specifically.
I suppose items such as Tabard of the Lightbringer fall under Sylvanas's music box catagory? Because in addition to that, I've recently spoken to a GM about a Lightbringer tabard, since I couldn't move my 2nd one to my main because you can't have more then 1 on 1 character, so he told me that in WoD they "might" add the ability to have it crossrealm/crosschars so you'd never have character-bound ( soulbound ) fun-items or in this case fun-tabards.
How about items with charges like: (from Timeless Isle), will they be available through the toy box?
