Can anyone explain to me why this site sometimes just will not load, no matter what I do? I've had it on the last two laptops, nothing wrong with them or the internet. It just won't load, or loads only text with no images, and I hate it :((
Can you send a picture of the problem and browser details to ? We also have a Feedback forum that's a better place to post general site concerns, since we look for user issues regularly there :)
"In Patch 5.4, enchants, profession perks, and gems had their level requirements removed."Gems still require ilvl to put on gears, but oddly, they shown as scaled when you check them with low level character. For instance you still cant put mop gems to tbc gear, same as cata ones.
Yeah, we added required item level details to gem tooltips to help users figure out what gems were suitable :)
The zone revamp sounds like a good feature
Can anyone explain to me why this site sometimes just will not load, no matter what I do? I've had it on the last two laptops, nothing wrong with them or the internet. It just won't load, or loads only text with no images, and I hate it :((I can answer this one as it used to happen to me all the time. There are actually two causes.First, and the more common reason, it's a cache issue with your browser. When it does happen if you try alternative search engines you'll find the page will load on those, just not the one you use,so what you need to do is reset/clean/delete your browser cache, your cookies and your temp files and always make sure you're always running the latest updated browser. The second and more uncommon reason is it's an international web thing. I'm not techy enough to solve it or explain why the incompatibility happens but on occasion when wowhead gets updated international users get the dreaded black screen (so process of elimination if you're a US user it's not this issue.) Normally if it is this reason, it will resolve itself within a week, longest has been almost a month at one time but that was one off and early into a expansion so wowhead was being a bit clogged up. Anyway when this type of issue occurs it's always good just to send a 'heads up' email across to feedback so they can work on it, sometimes you need to do some stuff your end with routers or anti-virus or enable access in order for it to work again. As Perc mentioned when it happens just shoot a email over to firstname.lastname@example.org with an attached screenshot for reference. The forums are helpful but often with the black screen of death you won't be able to see that as well.Nice changes BTW
