World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor will bring with it a plethora of new user interface (UI) improvements, from improved quest tracking to a better inventory system to new ways of storing heirlooms and toys.
Youâ€™ll now be able to collect all of your favorite toys and fun items without the guilt of having to delete them for additional inventory space. Puntable Marmot, Iâ€™m looking at you.
Like the boa changes, long over due. stat squish seems like a really good idea to me. main thing that makes me sad is ally getting to have bt as a home city =[...def have to roll an ally to check it out. Life steal, move speed and other stats on items is going to be a lot of fun to play around with ^_^
I think it's a bit soon now to make conclusions about what the game will actually feel like when it goes live. I like the idea of ten new levels, although years ago we heard rumours the max level should be 100 and thats it :-). I agree it gets annoying with alts but I enjoyed leveling and exploring with my main and I liked it when it took longer than a week to get to the max level.I wander about the garrison thing... It sounds exciting and like a lot of new and fun achievements might be on the way. I liked a lot the farm in Halfhill, how it was improving when you were getting more friends and I was a bit sorry that I couldn't interact more with it, like grow more pigs or so. But the garrisons, how much time and gold is it going to cost? Is it going to be really worth it? It seems like a lot of work to get together the followers and so on...And I love what they are doing with bags, all my toys in another interface? Yay, no more "My inventory is full" messages :-)
Super excited for the new Heirloom/Vanity Item system. As a collector of useless stuff, my bags are full at all times and its really annoying. And the Heirloom thing is just completely amazing as I recently lost my set of Shadowcraft heirlooms/trinket/staff because of not picking 'em up from the mail in time. :(
It looks like they had a lot of work done on the raid map's which looks awesome, not to mention the garrison system will be more than welcome.I am just wondering:since you implemented the "Toy Box" and the "Heirloom storage", will we see a storage for Tabard's as well ?
This expansion is going to be amazing! I think he garrisons are going to bring a lot of opportunities for everyone and we are reverting to a non-linear style of raiding like in Ulduar, which was an amazing raid!The gear changes are going to be great too, no more redundant hit/exp! Yay!Definitely looking forward to buying this!
Awsome additions overall! Player housing as number one, been waiting for it since day 1. But the changes to armor stats are also welcome, hopefully no more spreadsheets and stuff to check if something gives me 0,1% more dps than what I currently have... And honorable mention to the enhanced backpack and the new collection tabs, this is something I'm really looking forward!
Omg ! ;D so excited about the garrisons. i think its amazing that you can have you own base ;D hope they will make alot of customization, so i can make a epic looking town ;) and it will give me something to do while not in raids ;) gj blizz ^^ also that we will get back down to 40 k ish hp will be very cool ;) i have 600k myself and see alot of tanks with 1000k+ seems a bit to much ;S even tho i think it would have been fun to watch ppl run around with 1500k-2000k hehe and omg the bosses, would have so much health, but 40k is still better in my opinion ;D can't w8 for it to come out :)

Those changes to the inventory are just great :) they make it easier to use the toys and heirlooms on multiple characters and it becames easier to find stuff or sort stuff in your inventory it also saves some space as the heirlooms and toys won't be taking up any inventory or bank space. just great :)
I am so hyped for item squish, the nostalgia of it all is gonna be great
Toy box my main says YES! SOOO much space used by toys. And Herloom storage? Wow my bank alt is going to have a heart attack at the sudden influx of new space.If they CAN add tabards, I will be overjoyed. I have a few TCG ones I don't use because I just don't have space to store them.

I understand how they are making raiding easier for everyone but i also sympathize for the 10man heroic groups. Some of those mythic transitions is very difficult for some groups, however it is for the greater good of the game and i wish those groups luck. GARRISONS ARE GONNA BE AIDBAWUBAWUY
Some of the changes look promising and some dont. I liked the fact that as I leveled up and progressed that I would see those damage numbers go up. It made it more exciting. Also I see the gear changing as a good idea but that means everyone can do anything now. I dont want too see a primary healer say its my time to tank and suck at it, thats my job to tank!

With the removal of Hit, Expertise, Dodge, etc.; some races will obviously be receiving changes to their racials. I certainly hope that with all these changes, we get a long-overdue overhaul to Tauren and Blood Elf racials. And yeah, okay, Night Elves don't have much to work with, at the moment, either.
I fail to see why the item/stat squish is necessary... at all. Apparently people would become "confused" by bigger numbers? I don't really buy it. If you're confused by a number so massive and ridiculously large as 400, then you probably shouldn't be playing a game with more than 3 buttons. In fact, this idea itself creates confusion more than dissolving it. As we grow/age/experience we become stronger and GAIN levels, therefore it makes sense to GAIN stats. I understand they will be implementing the necessary coding to make it so we can still solo old content, but we all know there will be huge issues with that. Every old raid/dungeon/zone will have to be revisited and have its mobs revamped on an individual level to have significantly less health... than the point in time when we actually killed it. Sounds like regression, not progression to me. It also screws with the lore. In reality it must come down to what it always does in these kinds of instances, money. Bigger numbers or more stats means taking up more memory/server space, something Blizzard has made it abundantly clear they want to avoid at all costs (CRZ, then more CRZ, and recently even more realm mergers). I mean, come on, its a few pixels here and there. I should hope that a company we all pay into at least $200/year can afford to keep things growing instead of shrinking. Not to mention that hiring the staff, and committing the time to make the above mentioned changed to literally every mob will cost them up front. That's without budgeting all of the extra time it will take for staff to fix all of the foreseeable issues associated with an integral change like this.
@UI ImprovementsFinally! I've been looking for a place to keep all my things, it's always a nuisance to have them in my bank because they just lie there while the bank gets more and more full. That issue should definitely be eliminated as of wod.
