World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor will bring with it a plethora of new user interface (UI) improvements, from improved quest tracking to a better inventory system to new ways of storing heirlooms and toys.
You’ll now be able to collect all of your favorite toys and fun items without the guilt of having to delete them for additional inventory space. Puntable Marmot, I’m looking at you.
I think this is going to be an amazing new xpac, I can't wait! I think it will really spice up the game play and excitement towards the game as well!
Garrisons - Minigames inside the main game. So we have Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, Farmville, and now a RTS minigame inside. Could be fun, but could be soul sucking. We shall see =) Personally, I have high hopes for this expansion, I liked Ulduar's layout
So glad blizzards finally returning to their roots and giving us the things we've asked for all those years ago and making it feel more dynamic
Hooray for no more reforging/set bonuses.. but poor Mr. Robot..
Okay, so what I am most excited about from this:1. Loot-based locks! This is great, especially when I am an altoholic and I usually rely on my husand to run me through stuff with them, I can make him do more now yay! :) But seriously, I really think this would work out perfectly, as a healer I get called upon but I have to say no if I have already done the raid, but now I can help which makes me happy.2. Exploration rewards. I love exploring, and with a very quiet server I love to find little treasures boxes sitting around. I also found the Timeless Isle boxes a really nice touch, so it's great to be rewarded for being an explorer now :)3. Epics from quests. This is really nice. I decided to level an alt to 90 (finished last week) by only doing quests and absolutely no quicky levelling in dungeons. Now that I am old enough (lol) to do LFR, my greens (and the odd blue) are horrendous! It will be nice to be rewarded for working hard from questing- it's a viable option for some of us who like to play solo, but seems we're not as important or rewarded as such as raiders.4. No more dailies! Thank God. I absolutely detested the dailies. As a healer (priest with Disc and Holy OS) they were literally impossible and I had to find people to let me tag along to do it, who all got bored in the end. It turned me right off any levelling in Pandaria at all. I am glad to see it going. I'm happy to do it for an optional thing (like enchant patterns, mounts and pets etc) but not for gear we actually need to play the darn game!5. Garrison- I wasn't as excited about this initially as everyone else, but I'm getting there. I think the fact we can actually walk through our garrison as a real place helps, and breeding vanity pets!6. A change for group finder- hmmmm, how?
Heroic UBRS and Mythic raids sound awesome. I hope that a heroic UBRS does not remove or completely kill the old instance (like Scholo).
draenor looks so cool!
I've been dying to see Karabor since they showed it off back in the Black Temple cinematic in its pure form. Wonder if we will run into Akama there.
In regards to the new raid structure I would like to know how the loot system will work. If it's going to be like LFR for normal and heroic, that's not a change I look forward too. Also I have concerns about this new mythic level. If I read this correctly it's the new heroic, which means my guild would need to find people on our dead server to do it. As we stand now, we are one of a few guilds that takes down normal mode rather quickly than moves on to heroic mode. So I guess another question will be if we will be seeing a new recruitment system thats cross server any time soon?
This expansion is look fantastic. The changes being made are going to make the game more enjoyable, not make it too simple. And player housing should be so fun.I need pet battle details!
I love the idea of hit rating etc removal, it was really really boring! Also about Garrisons, I'm very excited about this and looking forward increasing my own garrison just as I wish, once again Blizzard, you are doing one hell of a job. Well done :)
I didn't understand what they exactly want to do with the spell upgrade while leveling thing, but it is a really good idea. Getting weaker as you level up is really annoying right now, as you only gain a bit of stats with each level and loose a lot from ratings conversion for your new level. So it would be great if they add an actual upgrade to your char with your new level as spell ranks did before.
I'm so happy for getting rid of specific stats on armor! (no more strength vs int plate) No more having to spend extra time to find gear for a Holy off spec if your a Ret pally! I am now excited for the expansion!
I am so looking forward to the Garrison's (and hoping they work out well)
non linear raids, blizz does listen:) bring it on....
I played SWTOR and this Follower-idea really reminds me of it, I'm pretty sure Blizzard can make this a good feature. The player housings will have to be pretty simplistic to encourage use I think- also has potential to be great. Is anyone else hyped about the raids having choices like Ulduar? I am because Ulduar is the raid I enjoyed the most in all of World of Warcraft! While I didn't particularly like Blackrock Descent, Blackrock Foundry is probably going to be very different.
Thank jeebus.. Daily quests are disappearing. All of these changes sound interesting, I hope it's delivered, unlike the promises in Cata for things such as new dances that we never saw.
Hey hey, whoaaa. Set bonuses are gone? Does that mean they are going to st--- Oh wait. I misread that and thought they were taking about gear set bonuses, not GEM set bonuses. Eh, i dont really see why they need to bother taking away gem set stuff. I dont really think the choice between putting in a red gem with your primary stat verses matching the set bonus was a very difficult decision to make on most pieces.
I am so happy that they update trolls and all the other stuff YAY BLIZZ
I like how flex is extended further in the raid tree, that's huge. No more locked into only one size. I DO kinda feel for current Heroic raiders in 10 man groups... however, there is nothing to say that 2 10 man guilds can't team up. AND how about a 10 man guild using the normal & heroic flex modes to actually train some folks to be Mythic warriors? MANY sports teams train their prospects in the minors and those good enough with that training get brought up to the majors. And let's not forget, what percentage of the player base is doing current Heroic progression now?Not so sure about stats squish... if it's an even percentage reduction, from some images I've seen that means they'll have to deal with .012 type numbers if the current 400s become 40.
