That undead girl.. i think i'm in love.
Does anyone know who that guy on image 81 is? He looks like an SS officer with some 'red tentacled host thing' on his left shoulder.
Commendable work and dedication there! I really liked the target dummy, I'm sure no one ever thought of it before ^^ Also the archangels look neat, really love the looks.
Some of these was really Awesome, I loved the winning costume, But some i just shook my head at and wondered "Are they even trying?" But ill admit, i did chuckle at the South park Costume.
Amazing attention to detail, just in awe of the effort; just wow!
Awesome! Ozzy Osbourne was there too. :D
that troll druid should won!
great costumes, as usual.
I like 47/218 the ogre chickShe looks awesome :D
I think the Blizzard Game Player is the best costume. I mean, it is so realistic.
All these costumes are just amazing the ones i like the most are the Imperius and Auriel archangel costumes they look just amazing and so much eye for detail :)
Wow, the Pandaren couple's costumes without the full fur suit are the best I've seen. Pretty amazing!
I had to laugh at the poor guy who came in first. I watched the webcast, and the host forgot to mention him. The guy was brought back on solo to get his reward. Personally I enjoyed 'How do you kill that which cannot die'
Jesse Cox as Leah has won all the Internets!
haha. nice customes
Some of the armor, likehttp://wow.zamimg.com/uploads/screenshots/normal/388475.jpglooks incredible.Anyone have any idea how they make it like that? Making cloth outfits is one thing, but that armor... not even sure what material it is. I could paint it to get the coloring (except maybe the gemstones on the one I gave a link for... is that just painted or what? Incredible however they're done) but I'm not sure how she shaped the whatever material it is for that armor. It looks too thin for paper-mache, too many curves for cardboard... Id say plastic but that doesn't look like something you could do by bending sheets and I'm not sure how else you'd get it.Maybe I should just research on costume design sites. I'd really love to see how it was all done. While I can't quite say what material many of the other armored costumes are made of, I do know the armor in the one you linked was a thermoplastic called Worbla.
The Grummle, Training Dummy and Tuskarr are my favorites.
The costume contests are one of the things i like the most at Blizzcon!
tbh i think 99/100 (so to speak ) are pretty lame o_o looks like they just bought em all and didnt try to craft it themselves..... that or they did a lazy man job and made the half naked armor like for horde orcs -.- wow 1 shoulder pad....so craftful T_T.... i hope they try harder next year it seriously doesnt cost more then 100 bucks for a decent costume self made. with little work. and 150-200 if u wanna look awesome.
