I want Arthas!
Dear Blizzard, I love you but thanks for making the three most iconic and desirable figures of this cool new line of toys totally inaccessible to those who couldn't afford to go to your convention. That just really sucks. As a long time toy collector, this practice is hard enough to deal with when it's a neat secondary figure or an awesome variant of a mass released original, but this? This is really just kind of a slap in the face. I was fine with the murlocs, but barring me access to Arthas and Diablo themselves? Bad joss on you.Sincerely,A shut out fan
No wonder everyone claims about so many people feeling like they have an "entitlement" to everything.Just because you collect toys doesn't mean someone should go out of their way to make sure you are happy.I really hope you are trolling...if not, i feel bad for your parents.
I couldn't agree with you more. no sense in complaining because you can't go or attend. there should be perks for people who spend money & time attending blizzcon.
Im not going to Blizz but I can appreciate that we should have perks for going… It’s always been that way! I am definitely Jelly! But all the guys going should get some cool stuff!Besides…. I’ll buy one on ebay.
Unfortunately, the fact that items are not always available to everyone is what something collectible/valuable.
Uh Ebay... kinda with the others on this yeah sucks cant go to the actual event but theres always ebay for picking up random goodie bag items
Am I the only one underwhelmed?
For what it's worth, It's cool that you get free exclusives for paying to go. I don't have a problem with it. It's something different than that. By their wording they are going to launch a full line of these and those 3 will be unavailable to the general public. I find something wrong in that. These are iconic characters. Tell me that BlizzCon attendees get an exclusive "version" or variant of said figures and it's all good. Tell me these are just one-offs and I'm ok with that. Tell me I can buy all the toys from this new line that I want and never be able to get a Kerrigan, a Diablo or an Arthas and I just find that exclusionary. It's like saying I can have all the characters from the new Batman film except for Batman himself because I wasn't in the one place at the one time he was available regardless of the reason why I couldn't be there. It's just poor marketing. I don't have a sense of "entitlement" but I see this in a way that most don't I guess. I have dealt with short-pack rares, exclusive variants, store exclusives, mail-in offers, Diamond exclusives, even convention exclusive variants before. Never has anyone done something like this and it's a tough one to swallow. It's ok though, I don't expect people that are going and will be getting these to really understand. Just have fun when you're there, it should be a blast.
I'm a bit fed up with this stuff. If I could afford the $5-10k it would take for me to get to BlizzCon (assuming they ever had enough tickets) then I'd be there. I assume there are plenty of people like me. Why can't they sell the goody bags on the Blizz Store for those people who have virtual tickets (so the total comes up to the price as if you were attending in person). That would give people options.
I don't know what BlizzCon you had looked up.. but my wife, my friend and I are all going to BlizzCon and we will have spent less than $2000 as a group.
5k? What on earth are you talking about lol? That virtual ticket can't buy you everything, we payed over 4 times more, I think a few plastic figures are in order for those of us who are going in person
I personally think they should offer something better then doggy chew toys... They wouldn't last 3 seconds with my Apbt. Ah, what the heck... When I get them I'll just give them to my dog anyway since he couldn't attend. See the universe balances itself out.
LOL Blizzard South, still pretending that they had anything to do with Diablo... *shakes head*
seen bettter suprises in a kinder egg
Just wait until somebody puts one on eBay
I want Arthas hes so freaking awesome xD
The goodie bag was awesome. Blizzard is really out doing themselves. I'm really in awe!
