Man this Blizzcon is awesome! I loved the opening of Warlords of Draenor and Heroes of the Storm and hope to see more in the upcoming days!
Hmm. Not as much Starcraft stuff as I'd like. Waiting for news about the Protoss chapter. Lol. Still, most anything Blizzard puts out I'll be interested in. :-) Hearthstone looks fun. Can't wait to try it.
Awesome guide, this Blizzcon is pretty good, and Blink-182 is playing! Wish I was there :D
Wish I could be there. :) One day!
Can't wait for this years contests! What awesome costumes that will be seen and who will win. The new talent contest and how that will go. Even the art is interesting and so are the movie contest! This Blizzcon rocks! <3
Rawwaaarrrr WE NEEED NEW AREANS!
Personally, I am very excited about all the new content and new games. Every announcement has been a thrill. Blizzard has not been this hot since BC was released. I am glad to see they are back in the saddle and churning out quality gaming updates and fresh ideas.
Gosh, I'm so excited for this years Blizzcon! Its re-motivated me for D3 RoS, SC HoS and WoW's upcoming expansion! Just wish I could be there :(
Pretty excited about Draenor, pretty sure Sargeras isn't coming in this xpac anyway, the only question is.... who'll we be fighting against (precisely, leader-wise)?
How many people do you think still play WoW because they liked Warcraft 3? Anecdotal, but I never played any of the Warcraft games before WoW and didn't know any of the characters beforehand. I don't doubt that WoW's initial success came from fans of the original games, or that there aren't a lot of fans of the original games still playing. But I find it extremely improbable that even a sizable minority, let alone majority, of current WoW players are still cruising on momentum from their passion for an 11-year-old game. (Note: I'm sure the wowhead user base skews heavier in this direction than the overall WoW subscriber base.)There are probably a lot more people like me than you realize: people to whom Illidan is merely a raid boss, a name on a nameplate that drops stuff that used to be good. I acknowledge the ignorance here: I don't doubt that Illidan has a great story that I might have picked up on better if I'd played the earlier games and/or BC back when they were new. But I didn't, and yet WoW is still compelling to me. And Mists of Pandaria, though its connection to the lore of the earlier games is slight? Love it.Sometimes it's okay to tell new stories.I played WC 3; my buddy played WC 2. Both of us loved WoW (though we didn't join until Cata). As my buddy put it about MoP: "It's Winnie-the-fing-Pooh telling you stories and tagging along for your raids. What more do you need?"Both lore and gameplay helped made WoW into what it was.Pretty excited about Draenor, pretty sure Sargeras isn't coming in this xpac anyway, the only question is.... who'll we be fighting against (precisely, leader-wise)?For now, it would seem that Grom will be the leader of the Iron Horde.
With no ticket virtual or otherwise, ill be waiting for the all the news to leak out through WoWhead.
Sooooooo much stuff I wish i were there!
Too bad it's such a hassle and money sink to get to a Blizzcon (european). It would be fun to attend one. I am very interested in the "Warcraft Movie Presentation".
Pfff, I am sad that I can´t be there. It looks amazing :/
I was quite disappointed when i saw the trailer for WoD. However all this garrison stuff, profession revamp, new talents, and the lore. Wow the lore is just amazing how it fits in the older expansion just makes it amazing.
Anyone who went, did they enjoy their time? I'm so curious what they entirely do (I didn't watch livestreams because I'm mostly referring in person type of interaction).
