If you think about it what exactly ARE dailies? They're little labels that they place on tiny almost insignificant goals that once you complete you gain reputation... How is this so different? Because you don't have a big yellow exclamation mark telling you to go kill 25 Yaungol all of a sudden you're incapable of killing 25 Yaungol? If there was a big yellow exclamation mark that told you to kill a mob that may or may not be up at any given time would you do it? So now that the exclamation mark isn't there you won't? In all actuality all this does is remove the hard coded "here's exactly what you and every single other person on the island have to compete in doing today to earn rep" and instead you can do it however you want, whenever you want, for however long you want! Isn't this what we wanted?Like others have said, set up goals for yourself. Say to yourself "Okay today I'm gonna kill 20 of those caster yaungols 30 of those melee yaungols and try to kill at least 2 rares." and you'll be grinding out that rep in no time.
@ZifnabOfPyranWhere did you hear that? I'm pretty sure it's up all the time.
With , it's always accessible on virtually no CD, so it would make no sense if "normal access" (flying there) would be restricted.
Oooooo Golden Cloud Serpent.
And society thinks women can QQ the most.... Never seen the gamer community. Especially the boys. Oh good gods.Actually, I'm looking forward to this. I played in classic and I know how hard was to level your reputation. I leveled up many through classic, bc, wotlk, cata and even leveled up all the pandaren factions before they made them easy. I didn't even do it everyday. I do not mind grinding, classic, bc was full of it. Although I wouldn't mind the daily quests too. There is always something bothering in the game for everyone. There will be always something. I will be okay playing with 500k people only, like the beginning. No big deal.Personally I'm not satisfied with the people there, since they are impolite, foul-mouthed humans. But alas, the game is still entertaining to me, I love the lore, the quests, the gameplay. I appreciate the effort without insulting the devs. Still the best game on its field.
If you wanna get vanity items, you'll have to farm coins, to farm coins you'll need to kill mobs, the same mobs which give rep. So it's double gain.
You are all just big cry babies, I WANT PERFECTION AND I WANT IT FOR 50 CENTS A DAY! This is without a doubt what everyone would like but it just won't happen. If you don't like the game don't play it, it is as simple as that. I think that most of us will agree that we play cause WOW is a good game and surpasses every other game of it's type. Every time something new comes out WOW is one step ahead. I agree that there is room for improvements but the comment section is to help people get to know what it is that they can expect from the coming faction NOT a long line of complaints.
There's too much QQ'ing going on here. If you don't like it, then you don't have to go to the Timeless Isle! If you choose not to go, then there's no reason to be QQ'ing about how much you hate it because it won't affect you one little bit!
No "Mask of Despair"? D:
Only one thing i wish for in patch 5.4: more bag and bank space!
A good and funny read. So basically, anything they come up with is insufficient, right?
Please, oh, please, reputation Tabards. The kind I can put on, and kill stuff any-FREAKING-WHERE to get reputation, just being level 90 the restriction. Is it so hard to implement that? I barely touched Thunder Isle, if you would believe me.I kinda liked the barrens 150-of-each weekly and would enjoy doing that and getting reputation with All Pandaria factions. Except I could feasibly do the weekly in 1-2 hours. Here is a crazy thought: Why couldn't I get reputation with the freaking Darkspear Trolls? You could potentially get freaking Switzerland-neutral and march in god-damned Orgrimmar at least in neutral stance, pvp-status closed, just for the kicks of really being called an "Ambassador". And perhaps fish something and pop another achievement while at it.
