Did I somehow magically miss that the model viewer has a full screen option all this time?
Warlock: It's... alright. I don't like it, but I don't dislike it either.I kind of agree, but it kinda wants to be plate Deathwing gear but the colors feel really really mismatched.... I guess someone forgot to bring their color wheel to work..
I love the murloc helm, probably because I run a guild called Dial M for Murloc lol
diggin' shaman, warlock and warrior. Not so much the others.
The monk set is very disappointing, especially the red mask. Makes them look like glorified defias. Could of done a whole lot better. When I saw it on PTR, I was hoping it wasn't the finished design. Looks like I'll be mogging out of this pretty fast.
Warriors cannot hide in the darkness anymore..
Some of these sets should be Dungeon Sets at best, that's the disappointing thing. Monk, Priest, Deathknight, compare them to the Paladin set.
DK's set is the only one I really like here. The warrior is not very warrior-y. Too shiney. Good thing I have an overflowing closet of transmog gear to choose from.I do like the set bonus for warrior though. That's pretty sexy.
The whole Mage set is a joke to me, the Design is so similiar to T13, I'd go as far as to call it a ripoff, even if that makes no sense. The Design-choice infuriates me even more, when I look at the so called Shaman set. I mean, really? It's beyond me why they made the Dark Shaman set cosmetic, while giving them a Tier-set that doesn't fit them and looks like it belongs to another Class. Every Shaman in my guidl already told me they're gonna farm Dark Shaman set for Transmog, and that they'll be using this instead of the actual T-set design. Makes you think. /rant offPlate wearers have it nice this time around. Warrior and Paly look nice though. Also DK, altough I don't play the Emo-Warriors. Sorry DKs, you'll never get respect from me. Monks is also pretty spot on, same with Priest and Lock. Rogue is...meh. In general, Rogue-designs are not as 'stealthy' or 'assasin' as they once were. This one looks like a Mercenary-armor, which kinda fits, but i don't like it....TL;DR? Mage-set is crap, Priest, Lock and Plate sets good, aswell as monk. Don't like the rest.Blizz wants me to abandon my mage as it seems :(
I dunno what you guys are talking about. I mean sure, it's subjective, but sets have always looked strange on certain race/gender combos. I think the hunter set on an orc male (or any of the bigger races) looks great. I like the helm and think the whole thing is one of the more cohesive sets. Monk set on male Pandaren looks fantastic. I think the best rogue set for looks on a human female (my main) was the Bonescythe, since it looked a bit more lithe and sleek. Seems they are trying to get a bit of that back with this rogue set but still looks a bit "platey". Now I can safely say, literally no one cares what anyone in the comments think about the looks (including me). Blizzard have one of the best visual/concept design teams in gaming, I think it's one of the reasons WoW has stayed strong for so long. They do take risks, they exaggerate and push shapes and styles pretty hard. Sometimes they make missteps, but they will never please everyone. They understand this, which is probably one of the reasons why they introduced transmogrification.
When I thought that Druid sets could get no worse....They put a fig leaf over our privates.*sigh*
I guess someone forgot to bring their color wheel to workThis applies to almost the entire T16 ensemble... it's just, ugh. I thought having tier sets based off raid mobs instead of the class was bad. Nearly every single set is based off the same dang thing! "Oh hey, we're laying Siege to Orgrimmar, so all the mobs/bosses are going to be based off Hellscream's metallic/spiky theme, but there's also the Sha of Pride to consider. Hmmm, what should we base our tier models on?" "How about the Titans?"/facedeskAt least half of the sets have that 'orb with the light-line leading down/up', along with some sort of too-bright lighting effect (holy Warrior flashlights!). Having said that, I feel the Titan look works well for Paladin, as well as the DK's dark cyclopean Titan look. Also, Warrior and Warlock provide a rare deviation by being based more off an Orgrimmar and Sha theme, respectively (though like I mentioned before, those Warrior blinders are definitely Titan-esque).Aside from those few exceptions, i'm fairly disappointed with the art team on this one.
They're all basically the same sh*t with different colors. Nothing new there
seriously what is with the post apocalyptic rogue gear, the past 2 pvp were roadfkill themed, and now the raid tier and pvp look like we've skinned robot and decided to wear the scrap metal >.< thank the loa for transmog
I'm excited about the hunter 2p bonus!, but the only thing I won't transmog will be the boots.
What the hell did blizzard do now? Sleep on the computer and rolling their face on the keyboard suddently created some very poorly made and disgusting gear...- Memory returning to WoTLK (that coloseum) crap gear...
I think these tier sets rank pretty highly on the "worst designs ever" list.I don't know, I think T11, T12 and T9 are still on top... mostly T9... I mean really... Who gave the idea for the for Rogues and Druids to have Penguin Helmet? Or in T12 where hunters have an eyepatch. Or in T11 where paladins are giant rocks.
Yay warriors are now light house's yay go fail blizz gear designer
I prefer this tier over all the tiers this expansion over all, and cata didn't have much I cared for either
Warrior tier is to celebrate Christmas?
