The trial of Chi-Ji is a test of hope. Uncertain of the future of his people, Emperor Shaohao sought out the great Red Crane. The Great Crane challenged Shaohao to find the hope within himself, and cast off his uncertainty. Once the Sha of Doubt was vanquished, the Emperor became a beacon of hope for his people. To pass the trial of the Crane, warriors must believe in hope, even in the darkest of days.
The trial of Yu'lon is a test of wisdom and faith. With omens of a bleak future floating through his mind, Emperor Shaohao climbed to the summit of Mount Neverest to seek the council of the Jade Serpent. Yu'lon urged Shaohao to cast off the dark emotions that plagued him, and through his trials, Emperor Shaohao would become one with the land. To pass the trial of the Serpent, warriors must be wise in their choices.
The trial of Niuzao is a test of bravery and fortitude. When Emperor Shaohao was overcome with fear, the Black Ox counseled him to face his fears directly. After a protracted battle with the Sha of Fear, the Emperor emerged victorious. To pass the trial of the Ox, warriors must be resolute in the face of overwhelming danger.
The trial of Xuen is simultaneously a test of strength and a test of restraint. When Xuen gave Emperor Shaohao a 10-foot-pole and asked him to strike one of Xuen's warriors, the Emperor could not land a blow. For without restraint, anger and hatred run wild. To pass the trial of the Tiger, warriors must harness their power, while burying their thoughts of violence.
Not everyone has the time to be plugged up to a PC all day to run content like other people. Coming back after months and seeing everyone else rocking cloaks can be frustrating, so it's nice for the casual WoW gamers to have an ability to catch up. Yea it sucks that it's unfair to those that grinded before the fix to add more lootable bosses, but at the same time that has given you an advantage to access Ordos and such before most of us, and it's allowed you guys to set ridiculous ilvl requirements to run flex/10-25m content. This hookup gives people a better change to raise ilvls quicker and enjoy the game, instead of trying to play catch up. I know it sucks, but try to see it from a diff point of view and you might understand why they've changed things around.
I can't believe this guide doesn't say that Sha of Pride is also guaranteed to drop the item you need (whether it be Sigils, Secrets, or a Runestone I believe), it screwed me over from getting the cape a full week earlier -_-.
have anyone noticed that the cloak whispers stuff?i cranked up the volume and it said: Mock their wings, leave them broken.havn't found anything on this after a quick search.
Just one question Javeh, are you a warrior?
Amazing guide. Thank you for the hard work!
Having three different loot grind events is incredibly lazy. I wish they hadn't half assed a big chunk of this.
Looks like a bunch of the links in the walkthrough aren't translating right. Many of them are showing text of Spell#, Item#, Zone#, etc, not displaying the actual WORDING for the link. Makes reading this take longer than it does to do the quest.
not sure if its been mentioned already, will quest still be avalable in wod if i havent quite finised it yet ie: collected all runestones and rep but still doing cele challenge?
I see add banners for this guide, that its 'updated every patch'... except this one? With all the drastic changes in the current patch, I'm woefully disappointed that this guide has not been updated. I come to this site for answers, not outdated information =(
