I hope Kovok is just as big as a battle pet!
The pet abilities of the Rascal Bot ('Bad Robot") are absolutely hillarious. Great JJ Tribute Bliz.
Question at the end!If you are casual pet person you can still level enough pets for the tournament and still focus on raids and other content. If you only do 4-6 trainer battles a day, and in Pandaria that should only take 20-30 minutes, and with all the information on how to beat trainers with two pets to help lvl lower pets, you could probably have the pets you need in a month if you only have 3 25s at the moment. However, if you only have 3 you probably haven't done the spirit and fable quests yet which will put you up to at least 6. That will give a chance for hardcore pet people to figure out optimal strategies on the tournament, helping you choose what pets to lvl and make your strategy solid before you ever start. All this said, you probably have time to get 30 pets to the max lvl before the patch comes out by doing a couple dailies every day. And even if you wait for the patch to come out, not getting to the tournament for the first month probably won't be that bad, in fact, after a month you might find rare farming and other tasks on the Timeless Isle easier to accomplish, especially on pvp servers. I also agree that this is progression for pet battling, meant to require building up for it. Anyone know if you can only do the tournament once on your account per week like the pvp pet quests, or could you have 4 characters do it the first week and have all 4 pets at the end of that first week? Thanks!
Considering everything battle pet related is BoA, it's safe to assume the pet tournament will work the same way.
All I keep thinking is "Dammit Moon Moon!" XDThat meme is hilarious.
It`s quite hard to beat the teams of pets in the tournament, due to the limited pets you have on PTR, even if you copy your character, you still don't get all the pets you own. I've got some combinations figured out but I`ll see when it goes live.As for the 30 or 15 pets required I still think you`ll need more than that to try to beat those teams, if you wanna finish the scenario.I level my pets very easy, I have for every trainer a two lvl 25 pet combination to beat them and gain the exp with my lower lvl ones. It takes less than an hour to beat the pandarian trainers(excluding the beasts of fable ones, I don`t waste my time with these as they don`t give much exp).
To get alot of lvl 25 pets, just do the pet dailies. have two lvl 25s and a lvl 20+ rare as ur 3rd pet, when u kill 2 of their pets and almost the 3rd let ur two 25s die and kill his 3rd with ur non 25 pet. You get about a lvl and a half exp when u win. I have well over 50 pets lvl 25 doing this.
rotten little helper should replace winters little helper or fathers little helper we always get them
I'm fairly obviously not a typical example, since I have all my pets lvl 25 (510 unique, some I have duplicates of) but it is, with a little research, incredibly easy to get 30 lvl 25's. I helped a friend through the 'quick start' method just yesterday. He had a lvl 6 and 2 lvl 5's. Took him to outside Kara, where he caught 3 lvl 17 arcane eyes with those, they spawn solo so they're easy to capture with lowbie pets! Then to Dragonblight, where he got himself 3x lvl 20 dragonbone hatchlings using the eyes (magic vs flying). Then to Vale and caught 3x lvl 22 eternal striders with the dragonbones (flying vs aquatic). That's from having a lvl 6 as highest pet, to having lvl 22's, in about an hour, including travel and some afk time. I then power leveled a couple other pets to 22 for him and we ran AQ40 quick and he got an Anubis Idol first time! This is important for the next stage, which is based off the awesome guides from Warcraftpets forums:-Beginners Guide:- http://www.warcraftpets.com/community/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4580This tells you how to beat almost every tamer with 2 lvl 25 pets and one xp'er. Requires an Anubis Idol and an Emerald Proto-Whelp, wild pet from sholazar, uncommon works so you can get even a poor and spend 1k JP to upgrade it. Easy! Veterans Guide:-http://www.warcraftpets.com/community/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4314Does exactly the same thing...but faster battles and requires more pets. My suggestion is to use the beginners method to level the pets needed for the veterans first, then you can speed through the dailies leveling whatever you want. You are now on the easy road to having as many lvl 25's as you want!
Oh and just to mention, I'm 8/13 heroics, this really doesn't take much time, just under an hour to do all panda tamers, major payne at argent tournament and obalis in uldum, though if you don't have your tabard to teleport to the argent tournament it'll be a bit longer travel time. Cexxi don't worry about making your 25's die, they changed it so lvl 25 pets don't leech xp a couple patches ago ;-)
Holy crap that's a ton of pets to be added in just one patch O.o
Taran Zhu has Donnie Yen, Bolo Yeung and Jet Li? Game over.
i need this rascal robot!
....and of coarse people are already complaining about having to have 30 pets @ level 25. Just like everything else in wow, everyone is lazy and wants everything handed to them. I have over 200 pets @ level 25, I had 30 pets @ level 25 within 2 days. It's not hard, you just have to NOT be lazy and actually work for what you have. They should make it so you must have 100 pet's @ level 25 to enter the tounrey. At least that way we would know the people able to enter are the people that deserve to be in it.
world of battle pets... new, upcoming mmo from Blizzard!
Banks is actually not a mechanical, but a critter, for those of you who want to get a team ready to kill him!
