Three new cosmetic items are now available on the Blizzard Store! Visit your friendly neighborhood NPC Transmogrifier to replace the look of your existing helm with one of these imposing pieces of headgear.
Recovered from the frozen battlefields of Northrend, the Crown of Eternal Winter enshrouds your character in an icy visage of death. Now you can adopt the look of an elite member of the Scourge, but without the inconvenience of undying bondage in the service of the Lich King.
Salvaged from the remains of the fallen minions of Ragnaros the Firelord, this helm sets you apart as a glowing beacon on an otherwise crowded battlefield. Where’s the rally point? How about by that guy with the RAW ELEMENTAL FIRE emanating from his forehead?
Forged from Fel Iron and shrouded in flames, the Hood of Hungering Darkness is a remnant of a rare dark magic only practiced by the warlocks of the Shadow Council. The lingering curse that keeps this headpiece burning is thought to be harmless, but feign demonic possession once you adorn it and see who dares to believe otherwise.
Each of these cosmetic items takes up your head slot, has no stats, and works across all races and classes. Visit the NPC Transmogrifier to replace the look of your existing cloth, leather, mail, or plate headgear.
Are these available in America yet?
Just EU atm.
Could people who buy them explain how they are redeemed ingame? Are these items that are sent to you, or do they just show up in the Transmogrification interface? Because the last thing I need is more items to hold onto, especially if you can't get them again after you deleted them. edit ok, they are BoA, so a bank alt can store these items. Still cumbersome.
10 bong pieces for a codswalloping headrester? You're tickling my tonsils, they can't be serious can they?
A lot of money just for a helm ..
That is a lot of money for a helm piece. At the end of the day, while they still look really nice, that is way too much money for a piece of armor . I might consider paying that for an entire set, but not one piece
Oh look! Blizz copied Hellboy and made a helm for him!
Maybe if it was an entire set, but 12 euros for just a helm? Sure they look nice but... that's alot of money.
The price is almost a month's subscription...
They're nice and all, but I think they just horse armor'd themselves with that price. 12 euro is a not insignificant chunk of change for a hat, in a non hat crazed game. *cough cough tf2*
12 Euros ? hohohooo yeah they deserve it ! If u are stupid enought to pay for it, u really deserve it !
A months subscription for a single piece of transmog gear is absurd. The pets are cheaper, and they can be used for pet battling and count towards achievements that award additional goodies, on top of looking cool by your side. The helmets should've gone for €5 a piece, €7.50 at most.
Vote with your wallet folks. I'm happy to see more cosmetic items at least. I'm hoping they add full sets, rather than single pieces.
Crown of €ternal Winter, Jewel of the Fire£ord and Hood of Hungering Darkne$$?Couldn't resist...
I said 5€ would be far enough the limit on these helmets... Now we see Blizzard is really hungering for money. All three pieces together would be 36€ ! Which is ridicule amounts of money, anyone dumb enough to purchase this should really think twice what they're doing...
$15 on U.S.? I'll pass
Yes, yes, all this was said when they introduced vanity mounts and pets: 'Thats too expensive! Noone will buy that!" I think Blizzard does their market research, in contrast to all the people commenting here. The price is *also* that high so that they can have a sale every now and then and still make a buck (and yes, in Capitalism thats what a company is there for).
i agree i am not paying $15 per piece i may have considered $5. But they will prob sell a few at $15 and a few weeks down the road put them on "special sale" for $5.
I'll wait a little bit, mostly until I see my latest bank statement. >_>I was first planning on just the fire horns but the ice crown doesn't ALWAYS have that skull effect? That interests me now, so I might consider it in the future.
