True story: Worgen are exactly the same weight as Ogres.
Hyah ghost-steed! Later I’ll feed you some ghost-oats in the ghost-barn.
Although the helms look great and all to level up in style, I'm a bit saddened transmogrifiable items have become another way for Blizzard to milk its customers' money EVEN if it's strictly optional :\"
As long as the store is not flooded with transmogable items, I don't see this becoming a problem, or mind it.
I like the transmog idea, however I wouldn't feel that unique the first month.. if ever.Oh and particle overload in the 3D viewer x)
so what's next blizz? selling wow gold?
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY BLIZZ
To think, when these were initially data-mined I called them being future additions to the game store, the models were just too nice and flavorful to be something Blizz would put in the game for free...Of course all the deluded fanboys raced to defend Blizz. Well, this is what all your loyalty gets you, final irrevocable proof of how badly Activision has corrupted this company and how eager Blizzard is to start charging for items even as they charge you just to play the game. As if we didn't all see this coming from the RMAH in D3.Pay to play or pay to win? With Actiblizz it's always both.
So yeah, cosmetic item, I'm cool with this.Interesting that Blizzard's referring to this as the Pet Store. Wonder if they're branding cosmetic items as "Pet Store" and coming up with something different to separate the non-cosmetic stuff.
Do no like it.Every time a in game item is added the slope into f2p and p2w gets steeper.Yes not here yet,but soon enough at this rate.
I love the looks of these helms especially the "Hood of Hungering Darkness" it'll look good on my warrior dragon soul gear ... I just don't like the fact that you have to buy them with actually cash... I already pay for subscriptions and expansion packs. could they have been a rare drop from a boss... or can we get them sort of how we got the Griftah's Authentic Troll Shoes? well since its already being announce for the store... please... don't make them over $1.99 or have them be in a bundle... for like $5.99 still love ya blizz... just focus on making more free in game items and limit all the store stuff
So now it have start even for WoW it start out innocence and end up like all the other so call "F2P" my god why even add crap like this to blizzard store is blizzard so desperate to get money so the can please the share holders? Serious if you think this well make people come back you guys are sssssssssssooooooo wrong
I really don't understand all these "f2p and p2w" whiners! These are some items that arguably make a character look slightly prettier, nothing that will give an advantage over anyone else playing the game.At the end of the day Activision Blizzard are a business and if they want to sell novelty items that don't enhance a character in any meaningful way then go for it. It doesn't affect those who choose not to buy them. Also, they will never go free to play while there are still many millions of subscribers. It wouldn't make the least bit of financial sense.
Seriously Blizzard? Is there no end to your greed? I was never one of those people that thought pay to win was around the corner but now I do. The least they could do if they're going this route is stop the monthly fee, but NOOO. They want us to have to pay for everything. They need to get a handle on their drug problem because that's the only way I can make sense of this. WERE STAR HORSES NOT ENOUGH!
if the prices for the helmets are above 5$ each then Blizzard are just a couple of moneygreeders... :/
I wonder if it only gets sent to a single toon that you can then move around - if so you end up with the Heirloom issue. If not then you end up with loads of duplicate helms filling up your bags (like the safari hat and loremaster tabard)I may be tempted with these if they are the cost of a battlepet for all 3 - or 2.99 each or similar. If they are like £6-7 each then I dunno.I'd have liked to see an arcanish one as well
