Just wondering, since they don't appear to have an armor class, if the festival clothes are mogable and if so to what classes of armor.

So, no special mount drop from Ahune?
So, no special mount drop from Ahune?Unfortunately not, though the Scythe and companion are quite nice. The enchant though is nice as well, plus the tabard.
I can't find the fire to honor it in Halfhill in valley of the four winds!, where exactly is it ? I am Horde.
What ever happened to the really cool lookin Helmets? Like Helm of Eternal Winter, which was datamined for 5.2 along with a fiery version. The best guess most people had was a reward from something related to Mid-summer festival, as there was a fire and ice version. They seemed really cool and I wanted to see how to get either :/Vidja: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhsnOo-iWuA
nothing new ugh... i was expecting a mount from the bag.
Though there's nothing new, the chance for a new cloak will help gear off specs and alts.
sadly there never has been a mount but you can get a pet
The cloak should be ilvl 502, so it has some actual use. Last year's items were 353, equivalent to the Zul dungeons added in that patch, the highest-end non organized raid content. Similarly, today's highest-end non organized raid content is LFR.Oh, and the scythe remains a transmog item only, too, since it has no intellect on it. Shame.
EU players have been commenting it's by the Halfhill Market--I will confirm when it's up in the US.
So are the only real changes the Flames in Pandaria, and the fact that you have to be 89 to fight Ahune?
Unfortunately they don't seem to have updated the bag yet. I got the Frostscythe in it just now, and it was only ilevel 353.

Can anyone confirm that 89 is the minimum level to queue?Only Uncommon (Green) quality items and above can be used for transmog, so no, the festival gear cannot be used for transmog.Wrong. An item needs to have stats - which are of course usually found only on items uncommon or better. The green "bonus" armor on the armor items does in fact count as a stat and does qualify them for Transmogrification. However, they are miscellaneous, and thus incompatible with cloth/leather/mail/plate.This kind of item is only compatible with other misc items, should they have bonus armor, an Equip: effect (but not Use:) or in rare cases even base stats. Gnomish Thinking Cap seems to be the only one I can find right now - Keeshan's Bandana once had resistances. This is a rough list of qualifying items. No other shoulders, and note that items without a binding type can only be used as a source, but can't be transmogrified themselves.
I've alerted various people to the Frostscythe issue--perhaps it will get hotfixed.
I've heard that the event goes live around 11am PST.
It's live on EU realms already and as noted in the guide, does start around 11 am PST for the US :)

Who knows, maybe you & I will end up on a virtual realm and slay some dragons together!
How can the spirit of summer and frigid frostling pets be new to 2013? wtf
