Looks good.New players shouldn't be beaten by regular pvp players now i guess. Pvp was 90% stuff, 10% skill before.
Blizzard really is completely out of ideas for new gear designs, aren't they? Seems we're still going with the "MORE SPIKES!" theme.
The end game pvp gear is cosmetic only? Lolz
One of my multi glad mates is gonna be coming back to see if this patch will be the end of PvP or relight the fire for massive influx of PvPers coming back/getting started on a serious level. My hopes aren't too high for this patch but when it comes to PvP I never have high hopes for patches.
I'm not a PvPer so I might be wrong, but I think that this design (maybe with some additional tweaks) would work just fine... if I do correctly understand it. So now players with bad gear will not die instantly but they will remain unable to kill good equipped players. This means that gear is still valuable while giving a chance for newcomers to have slightly more time being alive which would increase their overall happiness and ability to practice. I don't get why people are whining? Tell me what is going be broken? If you're better equipped then you have much more PvP Power, which means that you do more damage on your target than the target deals to you, which means you're going win...

If you're a dps you'll have 30-120 min queue time while tanks and healers have instant queue pop... Blizzard don't add this please...
so what purpose is there for conquest points now, apart from buying cosmetic gear that just looks bad in the first place? if you think this is going to increase pvp participation, just wait till everyone is honor capped and has got all the gear. they will then realise there is no further point to pvp. the old system was far from perfect, but the fact remains that it worked for almost 8 years. wonder why they can't balance classes first before making everyone's gear equal.no wonder the current devs are the B team. ever since they took over in cata this game has been going from bad to worse and the continuously falling subs reflect this.
These are great changes. PvP should be based on skill, not gear differences. Especially since (at least to me) the most fun part of PvP is the challenge and interaction between players, not the ability to stomp on someone just because they have inferior gear. I PvP for the love of the battle and the game, not the gear I'm going to get through a grind. The most epic battles were always those between equally geared competitors.
Personally they should have kept everything,pve and pvp (leveling in both dungeons and quests) as they were before cataclysm. Cataclysm itself was fine with the PvE and PvP (From my view but questing..they just made that stupid easy and not about having fun and learning lore..but rather just POWERGRIIIIINDING!) but then MoP came and they just unbalanced it all. Oh and making tanks take extra damage when they do there job of FCing? That was just stupid people whining.-BlacklichBT
