Here's to hoping they add items to make shoulders, bracers, gloves, and belts able to be rendered invisible. I'd love the freedom of making outfits which really showcase a beautiful robe, for example, without gaudy shoulders or belts getting in the way. I'd also love to be able to show shirt sleeves without them being covered by bracers or gloves.
We need tabard and battle.net bound item system, who gives a #$%^ about rehashed cosmetic models and mogging from your void storage?
The Darkspear Rebellion Gear models are probably placeholders for now. The dungeon set models already have replicas in the Darkmoon Fair. It would be a bit redundant to have another set of it.
Loving the troll barefoot vanity armor, now if only we had the option to hide chest/shoulders - my barbarian character dream would come true. :DNow, probably a silly question, but I haven't followed 5.3 news closely, so here goes: will this 'Darkspear Rebellion' thing be a one time only experience, think Operation: Gnomeregan (which I sadly missed) or will we be able to still do the quests and get the vanity items even after 5.4? Or is there no way to tell yet?
When transmogging the item, we noticed that you can transmog any item from void storage or your bank now--it's not just the gear limited to your bags. You can expand the transmog display to see icons of all transmoggable items for a slot. Finally!
This game gives us so much, beautiful environment, endless updates and patches (that are free BTW), awesome new content, tongue in cheek references to our favourite movies, I find it hard to believe that anyone would take complainers seriously. Are we that blasé a generation?Surely not.I welcome any and all changes that Blizzard bring, and continue to bring a sense of wonderment and excitement to the game. Long may it last!
I think the main reason why the bank/void storage sourced transmog has taken so long is that void storage was not intended for that purpose in the first place. It was really meant to be for "cold storage", seasonal or sentimental items which would see very little if any need for withdrawal but simply being something you did not want to part with. The removal of the keyring freed up the space later to be utilised by void storage, and simply being coincidental in its appearance around the same time. However the API for transmog has for some time supported using void storage and your bank items as sources with some addons even allowing you to use the void storage as a source currently on live.Maybe those prompted blizzard to finally finish what they started.
Bout time they mention about the tab on the transmog. But ya, I think this is way better then taking out something in void, mog it then repay to put it back in.
Hold on... the cloaks are item level 600? =o
Blizz seriously needs to put some effort into either giving us new Runeforing options for dks or allow us to write them over other enchants because being two expansions later after it's inception I think they would've come up with new stuff and Rune Of Fallen Crusader has been outdated since Cataclysm brokeFC is better than Dancing Steel.FC was better than Landslide.FC was better than Berserking.DKs get a free enchant that scales past the ones other melee classes have to pay quite a bit for every time they upgrade a weapon. Runeforge is a huge perk and your complaint is wholly unwarranted.
Man....that human character model. Yuck. They really need to update the vanilla race models asap.
Oh, sure, give us bare feet but make Sandrene's Invisible Vest untransmoggable...QFT. I want my men running around topless :<If that's the case, I think the harnesses do them justice. Girls, however, are a different story. But at the same time, I feel like there's a lot of revealing armor for them (mainly plate) as is. So I may be one in a million, but I don't think it matters much if that piece is ever transmoggable. I would like something besides bare feet, though.. How's that going to look on tauren or draenei? And on the topic of freedom of transmog, I'd really love for them to remove that "no silly stuff" restriction. Normally, this restriction could be understandable, but we play oversized cows, space goats and cuddle bears for races; in this game, it's not. Especially because we can use these 'silly' items regardless, but it just wouldn't hinder our gaming experience if we could copy the appearance.Maybe someday they'll give us what we want and we won't have to yell at our guildies/friends for pulling a boss in a pink dress, or topless, or attacking with fish daggers.
Last year the April Fool's joke was recolored transmoggable legendaries, along with a few things that were a little more plausible. I asked if any of the plausible things were true, and was told wowhead would never mix real and fake news. Cosmetic armor was also in this year's April Fool's Day joke. So, is cosmetic armor a real thing? And if so, does that mean Earth Week is going to be a real holiday?
We need tabard and battle.net bound item system, who gives a #$%^ about rehashed cosmetic models and mogging from your void storage?ME I GIVE A #$%^ about COSMETIC models ! I don't care AT ALL about boring game mechanics or whatever. That game need more choice for the avatar. more cosmetics and stuff to experiment withI would PAY for that !This game gives us so much, beautiful environment, endless updates and patches (that are free BTW), awesome new content, tongue in cheek references to our favourite movies, I find it hard to believe that anyone would take complainers seriously. Are we that blasé a generation?Surely not.I welcome any and all changes that Blizzard bring, and continue to bring a sense of wonderment and excitement to the game. Long may it last!me too. but sometimes I feel the characters are very behind the whole tech and beauty of the landscape and some npc.I would love for them to update the old races, to up the models, to give more interesting cosmetics things to our characters.
It was only a matter of time until they added more "cosmetic" items like challenge mode gear to the game.Soon we should be able to buy cosmetic armor for real money. If they were smart, they'd sell old arena elite gear for 2 bucks a piece or 10 for the full set.Lol 2 bucks I'd pay 200 for the full set .. and I know many people who would pay even more. Hope blizz adds this really.
Ive always found the various limitations to mugging to be a load of crud anyway. I can understand some of them, for the sake of technicality (like trying to program being able to mog a staff to a class that cant use staves, or class sets, to a different class) but plate not being able to mog to cloth? or mail? is that because the change could mess with the various "full set of plate/mail/leather/cloth gives bonus stat buff" passives? its just... if that's the case, they really don't seem to be trying too hard to fix such things...Maybe I wouldn't mind if basically all the armour wasn't just painted on, and actually had some mass to it (exception of helms, boots, gloves and shoulders of course) it just seems odd to not allow plateys to mog to cloth, when you can get plate that looks like a robe, and cloth shoulders that look more armoured then the plate shoulders.
Already patch 5.3 stuff? Oy..... It takes alot to stay on top of things, doesnt it?
The T3 gear from BMAH is actually.
Can we morg Legendary items yet? Wasnt the whole reason we arnt allowed too because it make them no longer rare?hasnt making all MoP rares Spawn hourly made rares no longer rare?since rares arnt really rare anymore can we morg legendary stuff now please, the years of finding groups to get them and spam weekly, it would be nice if they were useablethe rogue daggers were a disapointment a year to get threw the questline for them to be out done by blues a couple months later, could of atleast made the mop ilvl requirement 416 not 417 for enchants and gems so they were worth the effort to get, and the wings would of been great if tied to the acheivment as a spell not to the daggers, same with the staff turning you into the dragon, warlocks get to morg and use there wings and thier nowhere near as hard to get as the daggersi hope one of you blue posters actualy read and think about some of these
Why they does not bring back the Mage T3 (Frostfire regalia) through the Darkmoon Faire?bmah...aka gold sink
