Quite interesting. Fingers crossed for a bad ass new Warchief!
would be nice if blizzard would up the exp you get during pet battles to be more like what they were. I haven't done any real pet battling since they screwed us over with that move.
Out of curiosity (and apologies if I have missed it elsewhere), does this have any impact/bonuses for the Alliance? Is there any way for Alliance toons to experience this/get involved that we know of, or will it purely be all Horde? :)
The linked article which covers the Northern Barrens should have stuff for the Alliance to do as well--things like killing elites and escorting caravans. In a future PTR build, Vol'jin should be around handing out some quests too.The Orgrimmar stuff though seems like Horde-only content.
The Orgrimmar stuff though seems like Horde-only content. That means I won't get to see any of it, but even so, this is a really nice game development - the world is more dynamic that it has been before, and it is changing without needing player interaction.
First thing that came to my mind was DDR. They are watching you...
So, what does this mean for people playing trolls? Will the Kor'kron say mean things to me as I walk through the city, or hold me at gunpoint?Cause that'd be kinda cool to be honest, wpuld make me feel more like a rebel.
That would be pretty cool to check out! The characters I used were an orc and a blood elf.
Interesting lore addition. As soon as I finished the Dagger in the Dark scenario, I knew excrement was about to become corporeal. Just like history shows us; assassination tends to bring out the worst in us, to the point of a frothing, bloodthirsty monster. Though, to be fair, I've never really like Hellscream anyway.
I can appreciate sticking with one faction, I'm a die-hard Horde myself; however in this case it might be worth it to create a Horde toon just to see it. I don't know how long this stuff will be live, I'd hate to see someone miss out on a once-ever event. Heck, maybe even make a Troll and see how it goes :)
Check out Vale of Eternal Blossoms to see how the Horde have marred the zone, and hear the dialogue between Lorewalker Cho and Sunwalker Dezco.Small correction here perculia. The dialog is between Taran Zhu and Sunwalker Dezco, not lorewalker cho.Cho does the intros for the new scenarios.
Ah right, will update that. Should have just copy/pasted my old post there.
They took his snakes that's hilarious, Rebel zones must be Spread litle more because there will be a big war in 1 zone then for rares especially alliance will hunt em also.
Dominatrix Sylvanas gets my vote for Warchief, nothing like a super hot undead chick with an intoxicating sultry voice at the helm.....woot!ps - the Orgrimmer stuff should be Horde only, you allies go play elsewhere......
If you've thought that pet battles were getting a little repetitive, accuracy changes in Patch 5.3 should help. Fewer abilities in Patch 5.3 will have a 100% hit chance, and those that have a lower chance to hit will now hit harder--so using that ability will feel like a bit of a gamble. In addition, the base chance to dodge has been removed and the chance to miss high-level opponents will be reduced from 5% per level to 2% per level.Sadface.Also, I hope this Valley of Spirits shutdown thing only lasts until the end of MoP (probably will). Till then, time to buy some snakes.
This game be really changin', mon.
When I saw the title I thought we will have new world PvP battleground like Wintergrasp or Tol Barad... I'm so dissapointed.
How will this affect alliance players that want to do FOR THE ALLIANCE/DEATH TO THE WARCHIEF!We kinda got screwed out of it when Thrall went to outlands at the end of WOTLK.also wondering about starting zone questlines for orcs and trolls. (i do have a couple horde toons)
Expect da voodoo in coming days 'mon.
Lady S for Warchief!'Nough said.
