Really lame about Oondasta - Should be an achievement or feat of strength for doing it before the health reduction.
I get that Oondasta might have been a little overtuned, but halving its health seems somewhat much.
FoS for it before nerf? Would suck for those who did it in a legit sized difficulty groups. Most however got 4 raids or more to zerg it.
I think Oondasta's Health reduction was necessary. Lot's of players from low-population realms couldn't kill him, and if they tried to join a friend's realm, they were unable to receive loot for the kill.Hopefully it will be easier for those on Low Population realms to form groups and kill this big Dino.
The nerf was needed. I know Blizz initially intended to have Oondasta be a boss that would get a raid of skilled players together to kill, but people found it was easier to just zerg the fight with 3-4 times as many people as intended. I hope blizz learned their lesson on this one, if you want to make a boss to be a challenge, it has to be within an instance to prevent the issues of zerging.
Glad to get confirmation that the model change for the Sprite Darter Hatchling was a bug. I was one of those people who did the Alliance quest back in Vanilla, and yeah, we weren't too happy about it ;)
idk im disapointed about oondastas health beeing reduced by 50%, sure low pop servers might find it hard, but even with 3-4 raid groups it was hard to kill and that was the fun part of it, plus you had bigger chance to even get a kill as if it will be camped a lot now on high pop serv and a lot might not get the chance to kill it, so the only ones to receive smth is low pop serv and th e high pop serv have a disadvantage
So Oondasta has now 25% hp when in he/she had 100% so... From 850m to 212m? Madness? Indeed.
Nice to get some buffs for resto shammy, although I'm playing resto as offspec now.But I still think Chain Heal isn't worth using.
Is he now 25% of 8M or 50% of 8M? Kind of confused since the previous HP reduced was not shown in hotfixes posts
When I went to Oondasta last night, he had around 440 million health.
i don't understand why they don't want monks to have a burst at beginning of raid and pvp fights like every other class.
