very interesting sounds like fun only one gripe garrosh in a game called hero's of azeroth? he is NOT a HERO at all! you can't even class him as an anti-hero.
EARLY APRIL FOOLS! now if only they could put this kinda effort into their games in a more productive manor.
Blizzard please. Please… Don't tell me you cancer Starcraft Ghost but make a stupid TCG as a game… As if the Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh and Magic the Gathering versions were not complete failures because of the lack of real human interaction… What is the next phase? Role Playing alone behind a screen with a bunch of npc to keep you company so you can pretend to have friends?
Cool idea, but kinda defeats the point of a TCG, and that's trading and collecting the cards, as much as the game play. It's just not the same when you're not holding a physical card in your hands.
Is the beta sign-up free or dost it cost $?
Seriously? Only iPads? No Android? Very, very, very stupid idea. Waste of time on computer, no Android version - they lost me already...too bad I might enjoy it in work on nexus 7 or a quickie on my mobile...
If there were some in game benefit to playing this I'd probably give it a shot, but as a stand-alone game it doesn't look worth it.
<w<>w>*tries it out*
worth a try, but I don't get what aspect of the game will make it more successful than the other dozens of web browser based similar card gamesohh wait, the Blizzard logo....
So... Kind of like... Yu Gi Oh... But in WoW form? :/Sounds... Interesting. O.O
This better not be another Rage of Bahamut.
The beta will be open only for US and maybe Canada, the date for the rest of the world is unknown if there will be any at all.
Gotta at least try it
So much QQ! Well i would like to try it. I play WoW mostly, but I always like to play other games as well. I'm a pretty big fan of Blizz games, so why not :)
No trademarks have ever been registered for "Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft."This is an elaborate April Fool's joke.Edit: I had something else written here, but it was just my getting common law and officially registered trademarks confused with each other. Anyway, the fact that Blizzard (or anyone else) has registered no trademark for this is quite telling, as Blizzard is typically inclined to register one for their games. After they admit that this is a joke, I believe that Blizzard will make their real announcement/preview -- Blizzard All Stars.
