This sure makes me excited enough to play WoW more often again!
A Triceratops named Cera ? Land Before Time anyone? http://landbeforetime.wikia.com/wiki/Cera
The map/coordinates/pictures are a little bit off. Here is the Tomtom macro that I made. I used the pictures as the exact spawn points./way Kun-Lai Summit 74.86 68.46 Warbringer/way The Jade Forest 52.84 19.62 Warbringer/way Krasarang Wilds 39.21 67.79 Warbringer/way Dread Wastes 47.05 61.93 Warbringer/way Townlong Steppes 36.53 85.67 Warbringer
The WoWhead posts have me much more excited than the official trailer this time. Keep 'em coming!
Next patch is going to be awesome!
This is going to be awesome! :)
I love how many references I'm seeing in this one. xD Mumta seems to be a play on Mum-Ra, with the soul stealing and everything, Progenitus is a card in Magic: The Gathering, and Ra'Sha's Sacrificial Dagger seems to be a shout out to the set name for Tal Rasha's equips in Diablo3 which is called Tal Rasha's Sacrifice. I had to stop giggling when I saw "Electromancer Ju'le" since that seems to be a play on words for the unit of measurement "Joule" which measures the amount of energy expended, or force used, in passing an electric current of one ampere through a resistance of one ohm for one second. I think they're getting bored with the names lol.
Did Kros with a melee dps, a blood DK, and a Mage (me). Found the key to defeating him was to have the tank drag the dinosaur far away from the healing add spawn point. The further he is away, the further he has to travel to eat the add. Gave me plenty of time to kill the add. Also his roar is interruptable.
Lu Ban is the name of an infamous weaponcrafter in China.
better textures, means better graphic card u need... legit :)
are most of this rares soloable?
I love how the rare dino named Cera is named after the little three horn from land before time :)
My friends and I went around yesterday killing these, if you are in a group and someone in your group tags it and you successfully kill it you will all have the chance to roll. However, say you pass by a group of people already killing it and try to help, it will NOT drop loot for you like the Thunder Isle rares (if you are the same faction) However, again, if you see someone of the opposing faction killing it, you can kill them and steal aggro and claim it for yourself. Sadly, my friends and I found ourselves doing all the work for some alliance -.- We would get the rare down to about 25% and a whole raid group of 10 would kill all 3 of us before we could even react, and they would claim it as their own. We thought that the loot would still be ours since we tagged it first, but that is not the case if all of us die. If one of us is alive the whole time though, it will remain ours. So to answer your question, no it does not increase health for more people who tag it and such. Be smart, stay in a group, be on the lookout (if you are on a pvp server) and have someone in your group tag it if anyone comes near it. Sadly my friends and I were just about to hit the one in Jade forest, we were literally feet away from it, and someone from the same faction tagged it first and we couldn't do anything about it -.- I hope this helps! Good luck!
well i just got my slate primordial dire horn mount took all day but it is mine and it is awsome. i also got enough rep drops from farming that im almost honored? i want to say with everyone. now if i could just figure out how to post a screen shot of me on my new mount with my new direhorn hunter pet next to me :)the rare that dropped it for me was in towlong steppes.GL and happy hunting.
Are these the ones that drop the mounts?
Was in a group farming dinosaur bones when someone suggested going for the Rare Elites on the shores of Pandaria for the mounts.I have to say, this is by far the most stupid and poorly implementation of Rares ever. Having only 5 locations means each one has tons of players camping it. Having them on a short, regular spawn timer means everyone knows exactly when one is about to spawn. And than having them spawn in the exact spot on each locations everytime means it's just one big AoE spamfest and you just have to hope your AoE gets the first tick into the mob. If you don't have spammable AoE, don't even bother going for these by yourself, you'll never get it.Why Blizzard didn't make these faction tagged is beyond me.
ok sounds good
Yes, any rare elite on thunder isle can drop the codex. Got mine after about 45ish rare kills.. Quest has proven painful for sure...
