Well at least they don't have robots full of blood. Nevermind.
So, to sum up the Wrathion chain, you've spent the last two patches upgrading a weapon that was likely a complete pain to obtain in the first place. Likely within the first month of 5.2, that weapon will be completely obsolete, opting instead to add an extra gem slot to your helmet. Judging from how random this seems to be, here's how the next few will be going:5.3: Quest progression- Wrathion DEMANDS that you show how vicious you can be. Therefore, after you earn 10,000 honor kills (from the point where you accept the quest, not before), he wants you to obtain the hearts of the leaders of the opposing factions, which are rare drops akin to the Sigils of Power/Wisdom. You're reward for this? A legendary PVP Belt Enchant!5.4: Remember that belt and helmet you spent time upgrading? Well, throw them away with that weapon, because they're outdated with the next set of raid loot. Instead, you're looking at showing how far you're willing to let your mind wander, when Wrathion challenges your SANITY! That's right, that "the Insane" title you've never considered getting because Shendra'lar rep was way too much of a grind to get is your next target. If you've already gotten it, consider yourself lucky because you're also going to be going after Sigils of Sanity, obtained only through new Challenge Mode raids, which downgrade your gear to iLevel 500 maximum! You're reward for doing all this? Well, we hope you didn't throw out that Sha Touched Weapon, because you're getting a free legendary ITEM UPGRADE (+4 levels)! 5.5: Remember all that work you've done? Guess what? It was all for nothing, because it turns out Wrathion was evil the whole time, and, in order to drive this home, all the upgrades and gems you've worked for have been destroyed by whatever weird dragon powers he has. Wrathion might drop a legendary item in 25 man heroics, but that's a big "if".
O hai ther... you say you are fixing drop rates? (screenshotted after I opened half of them).
me either. I have never raided so now I have no way to get gear.
I donno if justice points will be worth anything once the patch comes, but at least the my private guild perk I have for 20% JP bump will be worth something now...

Well this is certainly good to know.Guess I'm ready by a few weeks then.
JohnEP10 hr 39 min ago (Patch 5.1.0)ReportQuoteReplyme either. I have never raided so now I have no way to get gear.Maybe John's don't raid?I agree with you though, i can't even spend any valor i gain in upgrading existing items as that function is being removed. This patch is doing very little for people who don't raid it seems
The only thing of note to spend JP on will be the "new" 85 heirlooms.
Will the faction hampioning rep take into account whether you have the grand commendation for them or not? A bonus 2000 a day wouldn't be too shabby if it did
I see they have no changed the policy and there will be valor gear for people who don't raid. Glad blizz listens to its customers
