Would LOVE to have green fire, however my main spec is affliction, we don't get to play with fire much :'(Same boat man, I'm probably gonna switch and try to learn another spec just for this. So awesome.Disappointed that Malefic Grasp will not be green. :(Man, how I wish.
Does anyone else notices that with hellfire it kinda looks like he's farting constantly?
Gotta start play my 90 lock again, awful gear :c
Well im not sure if the green fire is a "must" but its not bad either.
Class quest were, are and will be one of best things in WoW and with reward like this...just plain epic.
Still don't know why one does need to change their spell color.. I personally don't see a point in here.. They really should "waste" their time for some other, usefull stuff, not for some quest chain what makes your spell color green..Because if they have shadow or orange flames, that's not any difference then Mages and Shadow Priests? Might as well give Locks their own specific colour, since in lore, all of their spells are taint by Fel anyways.This. One thing that I have always liked about Blizzard is that they are not always about the grind so to speak. Side quests and lore related tangents are a nice break from grind...grind...grind...raid...raid...raid. Personally, I am glad that they are doing this. I liked the class specific quest lines back in the day like the old Lock and Pally mount quests or even in LK the Battered Hilt quest line. They were fun, lore related and at least in my case, they gave the player a sense of accomplishment.
Kinda feels like affliction is getting stiffed.
Now, about that Incubus....
Will the horns and the glow from gaining demonic fury be affected aswell?
I can't WAIT to do this! Darn servers, HURRY UP! I'm going through withdrawal... I even called in sick today... LOL
Ohh for the love of god, knock it off. People said THE EXACT SAME THING about the tickets for the fight club.Look at what actually happened. The rares that have a low chance to drop the entrances? yeah, on my realm they're up almost the whole time, people have better things to do than camp 24/7 for a mob. The invites that pop on the BMAH that people were swearing would be hoarded by the rich and socialite? look them up now.You do realize that these are up for sale in the black market AH all the time for 1k gold. That is probably why no one bothers camping them...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyd-DNSb-j8This is what I did.. hope it helps you kill him ^^I died alot before getting it done & learned some tricks the hard way.. but honestly, it was worth it :p
Still don't know why one does need to change their spell color.. I personally don't see a point in here.. They really should "waste" their time for some other, usefull stuff, not for some quest chain what makes your spell color green..Because it's something that is hard to do, a challenge and unique. Something that not every player in the game will just be handed. If you knew anything about warlocks, you would know that they have wanted green fire for years now. It has lore behind it, and it's cool looking and it helps further distinguish you from being a fire mage pt.2, So yeah. That's why thousands and thousands of people have been asking for this for years and we are finally getting it.
you can't camp a personal scenario. Nor does them sitting outside doing whatever have anything to do with what you are doing inside the instance. Not getting it , or getting it only has to do with you, nobody else
Alright! ALRIGHT! I'll start a warlock! THERE. Ya happy?
Question, if you get to the final boss, and wipe, do you have to do the entire Black Temple scenario over from the beginning every time?
Still don't know why one does need to change their spell color.. I personally don't see a point in here.. They really should "waste" their time for some other, usefull stuff, not for some quest chain what makes your spell color green..Following that skewed logic, they wasted a lot of time making the Quel'delar sword quest-chain. Seeing as the weapon ilvl was slower than even 10man ICC and was easily replaced once you stepped in there, as the very first boss drops a better sword anyway. This is not a waste, this is a fun quest, added for a GAME. TO MAKE IT FUN. IMO the more fun quests like this added to the game, the better we all are.Warlocks have asked for green fire for ages, Lorewise their fire is supposed to be green since they are infused with fel energy. Now I eagerly await for them to make one day, a class quest for the DKs. Lorewise, we've been pretty much abandoned entirely since WOTLK. Not a single DK NPC, not a single sighting of the knights of the ebon blade. The only proof that DKs even exist is 4 DK NPCs making small cameos. (Thassarian and Koltira during the Andorhal questline, a dwarf DK on the hillsbrad questline, and another dwarf DK on the horde into to pandaria)I wanna see DKs out on the world again, some lore for us. Hopefully one day it will happen ,and it will NOT be a "waste" as you so elegantly put it.Never gona do the Quest , didt realy like the green flame, I prefer the vanila ( my opinion)Don't do the quest; you don't get the green flame, easily dealt with.Or even better: Do the quest, then disable the green fire effect. Yes it can be toggled on and off.I will probably never get this due to the fact that on my server (or any other for that matter) there will be those who camp it for fun, then you will get the jack azz people who just camp for fun.Ohh for the love of god, knock it off. People said THE EXACT SAME THING about the tickets for the fight club.Look at what actually happened. The rares that have a low chance to drop the entrances? yeah, on my realm they're up almost the whole time, people have better things to do than camp 24/7 for a mob. The invites that pop on the BMAH that people were swearing would be hoarded by the rich and socialite? look them up now. From 50k on opening day, to 1k these days. Because nobody cares. Want more proof? Battered hilt, THE most sought after item in WOTLK due to its achievement, and awesome story, farmed relentlessly, if one ever dropped, EVERYONE needed on it, and sold it for like 11k gold or something. Look at it today. At best it sells for 200g. Fight club is old history, Battered Hilt is old history, And Warlock Codex will also become old history real quick, and nobody is going to be camping any mob for some lock book. Even if they do, do you honestly, really, for the love of all that's sweet and fluffy, think that they're gonna do that for eternity? that as soon as a new patch, or even better, a new expansion, is released, they're not gonna go and check those out? no? they're really gonna stay on the thunder island forever to ensure YOU don't get your book?Come on man. Worst case scenario: You have to wait a month or two to get the quest.Excuse me. Thassarian makes an appearance at Serithia's Roost sometimes during The Molten Front stuff.
