So they added extra valor points to dungeons based on the time it takes to do them. Pretty clever. Those three dungeons take significantly longer to finish than the other 6.Also, who else is completely confused by the description of the new "Spritual Healing" priest ability?I can't wrap my mind around that description, but then again, I am not a native speaker.
Also, who else is completely confused by the description of the new "Spritual Healing" priest ability?I can't wrap my mind around that description, but then again, I am not a native speaker. It's like this. 25% extra healing for those spells for Holy and Disc after level 10, and the same before level 10.For Shadow, 20% less healing for all levels.Cheers.
Thanks for the explanation, lankybrit. I think Blizzard should start proof-reading their patch notes.
Thanks for the explanation--after further thought, I removed it from the highlights because it's not really breaking news even though the patch notes say it's 'new' :)
I don't think so, I'm pretty sure its a 20% nerf to those spells from level 1. Holy and disc recieve a 25% buff after level 10 to bring them back to 100% of current healing. 100%-20%=80%, 80%+(25%of80%)=100%. It's a slight buff for shadow healing based on the last ptr patch, but still 20% less healing than on live currently. Disc and holy shouldn't see any change from live.

This tweet from Ghostcrawler should explain things:"We nerfed base heals to nerf Shadow, then buffed heals for Holy/Disc. Should be no net changes to the healers."https://twitter.com/Ghostcrawler/status/298902165328650240
I see. So Priest heals have been nerfed by 20%, making them 4/5 of what they were, and they buffed the Disc and Holy's heals by 25%, making them 5/4 of the new normal. 5/4 x 4/5 = 100%, so no net change for the healing specs, and a 20% nerf for shadow.
Level 90 players that use Dungeon Finder to look for a random Dungeon or Scenario will receive additional bonus Valor Points upon completing specific Dungeons or Scenarios.DungeonsSiege of Niuzao Temple: 5 bonus Valor PointsScholomance: 10 bonus Valor PointsShado-Pan Monastery: 15 bonus Valor PointsI didn't hear anything about this before. What's the deal behind this? Does it have something to do with the length or difficulty of these dungeons?
The Fetch ability from Glyph of Fetch no longer requires a target. When activated, the pet will automatically choose a nearby corpse to loot.Yes! Dungeons Siege of Niuzao Temple: 5 bonus Valor Points Scholomance: 10 bonus Valor Points Shado-Pan Monastery: 15 bonus Valor Points Completing the Scenarios: Brewmoon Festival, The Jade Forest, A Little Patience, and Dustwallow Marsh will award 5 additional Valor Points.Whoa. Feels like the Oculus thing all over again.(Reason why this is the case is because people don't want to do the instances due to tedium. For instance, I hate the Jade Forest scenario)Players can obtain a new title "Khan", by completing the following Battleground achievements: Battle for Gilneas Veteran, Master of Twin Peaks, Master of Temple of Kotmogu, Master of Isle of Conquest, and Master of Silvershard Mines.KHANNNNNN!
Any pet that has been killed in a pet battle will now never respawn.Could that be anymore vague... So does this mean my Eternal Strider once killed in battle I'll never have it again?

So does this mean my Eternal Strider once killed in battle I'll never have it again? There is currently a glitch; if you kill a wild battle pet in a battle against more than one wild pet, but then log out/Alt+F4 etc. before you kill all of them, the killed battle pet will return, giving you another chance at capturing it.
Does any one know whether Glyph of Drain Life for walocks and Harvest Life ability will stack?
So, more valor to spend on nothing if you haven't got the rep. Awesome!
I'm very happy to see more Valor for the scenarios. For new 90's in entry level gear, they are very demanding. As a DPS, I love the short queues. I wish Unga Igoo gave more, though. And doing ANYTHING repeatedly is tedious, whether it's heroics, LFR or scenarios. I wish they would fix the Dancing Water Skimmer issue for All the Squirrels.
What the hell are they doing with warriors? Not happy.
You can now earn bonus reputation for your first dungeon and scenario of the day. You can select which reputation you choose to champion by selecting it from the reputation panel on the character screen. When you queue for a dungeon or scenario, the UI will remind you which reputation you are championing and allow you to change the reputation from there. (You cannot change that reputation once you are in the dungeon or scenario.)I wonder, does this mean you can grind rep for two factions at a time with one dungeon run? Or does this bonus rep override the rep you'd normally gain through championing with an equipped tabard? The use of the word 'championing' gets me a bit confused, since it's also used for rep-gaining tabards.
Now the question for mages is: go with Flameglow or stick to Ice Barrier...?
So, no more vanish for druids, I read it right?
Thanks for the explanation, lankybrit. I think Blizzard should start proof-reading their patch notes. It is just their way of nerfing shadowpriest healing without affecting holy or disc.
