I have the best spot for farming the Lovely Charms. Go to Valley of the Four Winds in the Northwest corner, (about 27, 30 cords) there is a hole on a ledge on the wall / mountain. When you go in there is a quest NPC named Skiggit with a lot of mice around him with ~4k health and near instant respawn. It seem they spawn faster when Skiggit is alive, so cc him some where away from adds and aoe. I get near 40 charms per minute with two other people in my group leeching some at the same time. Also, i heard there could be a phasing issue related to the Dominance Offensive but i cant confirm. One last fact to know! There is a yellow bamboo chest that spawns in this cave with 98 gold! So even more of a reason to come farm here :) Good luck, and i hope this help!Blizzard brought down the hot-fix hammer and ruined all this amazing farming, Skiggit is no longer an glorious place to farm. It's not even okay. It's baaad.
I can confirm that killing Unstable Corruptions (Water Guys) in Throne of Tides Heroic creates Charms. They each only have 9k health so it isn't exactly hard.
Imho, I find the Jade Forest first areas the most efficient way to gather Charms. Thunder Hold is the best place to kill Sha creatures for the Horde. Gathered a lot of Charms under 1 hour. Not sure about the Alliance side, but I think they have such areas too.
Added information about Skiggit's cave for charm farming to the guide.
OK, I'm still missing it no matter how many times I read this. It says:
I am, and I now see what I was missing .. I did the daily dungeon already, I thought it was a different one than that. I got it *before* I finished the main quest line. Don't remember exactly where in the line though.
For those of you who, like me, had already completed the main questline last year, you will not be able to repeat it. Just go on and queue for the crown dungeon and you WILL receive the heart-shaped box for your chance at the rocket.
No new achievements, Atratzu's heart is broken this Love is in the air festival </3
Welp. Here's to hoping I get a mount this time. Also I'm keeping that Q image for later.
Rejected the Love Fool
Found a good farming spot for the charms on youtube! Go to the scenario: Crypt of the Forgotten Kings; just group up and tell the others that you cannot kill the 3 Shadows of Anger that spawn small adds; spawns of anger (before last boss). When you've completed the scenario, stay there and start killing the spawns of anger; as long as you don't kill the elites, the small ones spawn over and over again! As a hunter; don't use snaketrap, the snakes will find a way to the elite. Pet needs to be passive.
For those having trouble finding the quest givers in the Exodar, they are OUTSIDE at (73,56). They are to the immediate LEFT of the entrance, (or right if you're coming outside).
Do you have to do something to make charms start dropping? I did the daily dungeon and then did August Celestial and Shado-Pan dailies and got zero charms. Just bad RNG? I thought they fell more frequently in the past, and I killed dozens of mobs.
In the Apothecary Hummel description, under the Loot tab, a update needs to be made for the line that says, "a non-combat oozeling companion" to as combat per the updated Toxic Wasteling being a battle pet.
You need to have the Lovely Charm Collector's Kit.
I noticed when you accept queue for holiday boss event they warp you into hallway of Shadowfang Keep right before Baron, so the low end mobs that path the hallway are attacking you as you load in and you have to kill baron to open door. I know last year (maybe the year before) you'd load in on the steps & could ignore all the low end mobs (not like one shot killing is difficult just annoying you have to wait for the door to open after killing Baron)
Where is the love moonkin?Valentine's just won't be the same without her...
I found that as a level 90 Hunter the best place to farm lovely charms is the area in Uldum you go to to complete Crushing the Crown. As ranged I got a hit on 5-6 every time they spawned. I left with 150 after spending hardly any time there at all.
