Makes sense; they don't want people banking 10 Elder Charms + 90 Lessers and having 13 charms to spend on the first week of raiding Throne.
not that the charms have much use anyways, used them on every single boss last week and did not get a single loot. same with the raids i did today. they need to up the gold you get from the bonus, 28 is not worth it!
Oh joy! I get to continue to do hundreds of super exciting dailies every single week! I just can't wait! I mean seriously, dailies are the absolute BEST part of the game! Two thumbs up Blizz...
So basically if you are a hardcore raider that hates questing, it is best to do the faceroll dailies now, but don´t do the weekly turn-in.... just accumulate your lesser charms, then when 5.2 hits, you won´t have to worry about doing dailies. Since it seems the same lesser charms will be used to by the new lucky charms.Blood spirit prices should drop since it will be fairly easy to faceroll MSV and use your old lucky charms.
I use my charms on Elegon and Galleon for a chance at the mounts. That's about it at this point in the game.
I'm not sure why people are complaining about the lesser charms. It has already been announced a while ago that they would have these as available through pet battles and PVP. I think that if you want to have a lot then yes you can grind them in quests still but if you don't want to have to do that then you can just work you way slowly through the week getting a few at a time in other things. And who knows, maybe there will be other ways to get these that that haven't announced yet.
Well we all pay too play so lets just do what we do best and play the game.
I need to dig the quote up, but I'm pretty sure coin rolls don't affect mount rolls :(
While this makes sense right now, players are going to come to expect charms (or some form of bonus loot chance) from every future raid, as well they should - it's a cool feature. The problem will come in the future, and it's the same exact problem they had in Wrath: too many different tokens. It just seems very odd to me that they would repeat the same mistakes from their own past. I could be jumping the gun, however... a working solution they may already be thinking of is to have every past raid use Elder Charms, and every current raid use "Mogu Charms of Fate". However, like with VP*, they would have to clear everyone's Mogu charms before each raid patch.*I assume they will, especially after this news.
The way i see this working, is that yes, 5.2 might be a bit confusing about the charms. But i think once we get tier 16, then they will let us use Charms of good Fortune on the tier 15 raids, and the Mogu charms will be for the tier 16 raids, i think that would make a whole lot of senseTL;DR I think Lucky Charms will be for old tiers, and Mogu for the current one.
Will the "old" dailies still work as a source for Lesser Charms that can be used to buy the new Mogu Charms? Will there be like a new weekly questgiver where u can decide if u wanna exchange the lessers for Mogu Charms or Elders?
I think this seems fine and sensible. I guess I'll be doing a !@#$ton of dailies though.Oh wait. I like doing that.
What's an MRF?Cheers.
And then months later, Blizzard will remove them completely from the game.Reason: We have too many currency, we want to clean things up.Remember how many type of emblems we have during WotLK ?
