Three new spirit beasts, all reskins of a porcupine?
Truly my favorite moment was when I finally reached 80 with my first character.
If you're going after the new spectral porcupines, I have a piece of advice for you. Know where you will be kiting them - I disengaged to give myself a little more distance and threw myself off a cliff.
stop complaining non BM hunters, this is the first (yes only 1 so far) Spirit Beast released in MoP, first release of MoP and 5.1 have been PACKED with tons of new hunter pet types and skins ALL usable by every type of hunter. U have nothing to complain about, and this isn't even that great of a Spirit Beast, most BM hunters probably won't even want it.there have been over 150+ new hunter pets added to wow since 5.0 that are all tamable by SV and MS hunters, Blizz has show plenty of love to u already
I always thought a "Healing" pet would be interesting, a pet that stayed by your side and just buffed you and healed raid members in a 40 yard area. I envision the pet's heals scaled with the hunters AP or DPS and it Crit heals when the hunter Crits. You could send it to attack the boss, doing little damage but healing and buffing the tank and melee DPS. Raids would love that! It could be a new fourth pet spec! What should that spec be named?...
"I don't see the big deal with the porcupines. I think they are HIDEOUS. LESS porcupines, more Other things please. A spectral crane would be cool."Spectral crane, I dont know about that... But yeah, there are enough tigers. Ops! Would love one of those Xuen things.Cant say I have seen anyone use porcupines. Its like that spectral crab from vashjir. I got it and never used it. Neither did I see anyone else.Arctrius? (spelling) Bear from grizzlyhills is still my favorite pet on a daily basis.
There are so many other skins people have been begging for in spirit beasts, but it's as if they aren't listening. One porcupine I could deal with, but three? Seriously, why not a dino of some sort? Or another solid-skinned pet like Skoll or Loque? /sigh...
ok, so they're going to nerf disc priests a little. That's fine. What about shadow, the aoe is back to being a joke. Multi-dotting only gets you so far. Mind sear is doing nearly the same damage whether I'm disc or shadow, that's not right. Shadow preists are a bit underpowered compared to other classes and need a little buff, at least to aoe. Also, why are hunters so hated that it's nearly impossible to get a weapon? I mean really, most of their damage output is based on the weapon and yet there are few drops possible and with a low chance to drop.
If you're not rading normal mode raids why do you really need a higher ilvl than 470?
the "casuals" here who are complaining about how hard rep grinds are on alts are being a bit overdramatic.you do not need to do every single daily in order to get into raiding. for one day you could do just the golden lotus, and then the next klaxxi maybe. switch it up a bit. maybe do 2-3 reps at a time if you feel like it. yes, there is a lot but you are not being forced to do every single daily every single day.when i first hit 90 on my priest i focused on the tillers first. after that i went to revered for golden lotus so i could get the rep buff and start on my druid. it all comes down to you and how you're going to commit. yes, the dailies are a bit tedious sometimes (coughcoughshadopancough) but really if you just take a couple days or weeks you'll get done with it.and no, no reps are required at all for getting into RF. i only bought maybe one piece before i started doing it on my priestand for the spirit beasts- i think the porcupines are really nice, cant wait till my hunter hits 90 and i can tame one
God, I agree with the white text on so many counts.
Blizzard does not make it easy. Hunters need more stable slots. I would be willing to pay for them.
