That is true to me to I cant raid I am disabled and the only way i have of getting better items after i buy them with valor points is to upgrade them. Some of my gear like a chest piece and weapon need jp points which will neve get upgraded. I have been made fun of because i am a 90 and my gear is not as high as it should be but now wow will make it worse because i wont be able to upgrade at all! Thanks wow you are only looking out for raiders and dungeoners and not the casual or disabled (which by the way are quite a few) who play your game.
Gotta admit, regardless of what side I pick on the dailies issue, that Blue post bleeded arrogance and ignorance. I only hope Blizzard slaps that guy with a warning of how to talk to their freakin' player base. Totally unprofessional and very opinionated rather than the objective overseers we need on such hotly talked about issues.
That Draztal seems like a real *!@#$%. He seems completely oblivious to the real issue and I can't believe he suggested someone shouldn't be worrying about an alt if they're a casual player. That's NOT for him to decide. RemovedThe issue here is how many dailies there are and how they are tied to the valor gear. I have finally leveled an alt and am able to finally run MV LFR. I have ran MV LFR for 6 weeks without a single loot drop, and that is including Elder charm rolls. This is not an exaggeration, I have been extremely unlucky with RNG. But, with the time spent playing my main, as well, I don't have time to spend another 2 hours a day on dailies. I can do enough to get my 90 lesser charms per week, but not much else. So, I'm stuck at ilvl468 for another week, and am unable to progress to HoF LFR because of it. Not to mention, I JUST hit revered with Golden Lotus, and had just enough valor to buy a piece of gear. To be clear, this toon is on my second account. My commendations do nothing for that toon. I realize that this is my fault as far as the alt situation goes, but it illustrates a late comer's inability to be able to "catch up" quickly when they don't have 2 or 3 hours a day to devote solely to daily quests. Seriously, 6 weeks and no freaking loot drops? Yet, Blizzard wants us to utilize LFR to gear up as an alternative to having to do daily quests...
I couldn't agree more. Not only are they super weird looking: They are not an intimidating or cool hunter pet! Spectral crane, Xuen-lookin spirit tiger, spirit Quilen (even with their awkward face) would all make more exciting pets. Hopefully these porcupines are just the first batch of spirit beasts and the cool ones are to follow.
nice changes Give Prot Pally Increase in threat everyone else got that in cata
and there goes Blizz, tinkering with Ret Paladins damage again, im sure its going to be bad since they touched it and near the end of a billion insults from other players to us, the paladins, they would again change the damage to something good >_>
Yeah It's understandable that people get tired of repeating dailies... but in the end, once you pick up another character EVERYTHING gets repeated (questing, dungeons, bgs). Hell, even hardcore raiders get to run the same raids over and over untill most of the team is geared.... I played my rogue and got half way through the first legendary gems quest and got so sick of Dragon Soul that I never want to go back. People should undestrand that WoW is not about just breezing through stuff and getting huge rewards for that. You either commit and imput lots of time/money/effort for something, or just shouldn't expect much.Hardcore raiders deserve the best gear cause they spend time, not only playing but actually planning, studying and creating strategies to tackle every fight. Time dedicated to doing tons of dailies barely measures to what hardcore raiders do. Btw, im not a raider. I play casually-somewhat dedicated. You gotta split your time doing what you like/what you need to. Same as life. Is not just a long weekend. You work for 5 days just so you can enjoy the 2 that come after. My suggestion is, think of other things, try old content, maybe some pvp, LFR, Brawler's guild, etc. There is tons of stuff and not everything has to happen overnight. Believe me, i get obsesive sometimes over a piece of gear or an exalted rep for a mount too. But just remember to enjoy the game... or else whats the point of it all?
They will be mine in 5.2!
- Golden Lotus to Honoured- Klaxxi to Honoured- Two valor gear items from those factions (ring & necklace)- A few scenario drops- A few Heroic dungeon drops- A single piece of PvP gear- One or two purchased gear pieces (about 4,000g)And I was ready for LFR. Barely had to touch dailies at all.
why porcupines? they look hideus and instead if choosing cool pets like cats, scorpions etc you choose to make the uggly porcupines to spectral ones......if i see one of those spectral, im going to kill them due they are pretty hideous. (sorry for my english)
OK, Now how about an achievement for having tamed ALL the spirit beasts :P. I have the first 9 already :)
looking forward to the new raids
Sigh, so now ppl who are leveling alts or started later in MoP are denied the only sort of fast way to catch up on gear... Also how about giving us a choise to either get rep from a dungeon or dailes so it wouldn't feel like those quests are forced on us? The dungeon rep could be capped so you couldn't get exalted faster compared to dailies. Maybe each faction could have an NPC that you talk to for doing the dailies or dungeons (note that you could only do either dailies or dungeons for that faction that given day). This would also help a bit with the gearing because you would get rep and maybe some loot from the dungeons, not everyone has the time to do dailes and dungeons each day with LFR etc. I am aware that none of these things are mandatory, but for someone who needs to catch up on gear to do raids they really are and after doing dailes on 5 different characters I really HATE the grind - even with the rep buff items. Tbh I hated it the very moment I hit 90 on my first character, never liked dailies and not really into questing even when leveling it is boring to me - collect 10, kill 5, jump off a cliff and come back to me and repeat a few hundred times."When there's so much content to do with your main, do you truly need an army of alts at the same level your main is right now? at this very moment? I can't quite wrap my head around the argument of being a casual and at the same time arguing you need to have a bunch of alts at the very same level your main is."But I don't want to do the same quests and same content on my main every day over and over, yay more dailes come with every patch... We want some variety and the ability to choose -.- And why do we get rewarded with achis for leveling alts if that comment is what they truly think about having alts? Btw, some ppl have to lvl alts for their guild if someone quits etc, not just because they are altoholics like me :DThis is a game, games are supposed to be fun and challenging - now this just feels like work and the only challenge is to try and survive the daily grind. I'm a sad, sad panda :(P.S. Sorry for the loooooong comment, this just annoys the living daylight out of me.
Honestly, the people complaining about dailies are either cata babies or worse. If you want to casually raid on an ALT don't expect to progress the same way you would with your main. I feel LFR encourages too many people to think they can do reg raids and this is not the case at all. The only reason you need to do dailies is if you want a main to do reg raids so you can get rep to buy vp gear and elder charm of double gold. Loot system is done right in reg raids, blizz, bring that to LFR please.
Would love to win.
