I'm so excited. Dinosaurs. Thunder Isle. Here I come!
Bones stack to 500... final quests requires 9999 to turn-in... 20 stacks... Blizzard, hello, inventory space is beyond a premium as it is, as we proved with the Lesser Charms of Good Fortune. This is literally harshly punishing for the collectors, like myself (not of all things, but of irreplaceable, or hard-to-obtain things, as well as pets and mounts). This should be switched to the currency page, or stack far higher.
the more datamined the better it gets!
Jurassic Park, is that you ?
9999 Dinosaur boes might be an abstract value. What you guys are forgetting is that this is an extremly early 5.2 PTR content update and the data values change constantly throughout the cours eof a PTR and sometimes even after going live (with a hotfix or tiny patch)Wait for the live patch and the values might not be 9999 bones and 500 per stack by then.
those rep insignia's should be plenty useful for late comers and new alts.
I am beyond ecstatic for this patch. I friggin LOVE dinosaurs! /squee!
With respect to groovz--yeah, the bone amounts could change, but the basic jist should be the same. Mysterious island has gorgeous elite dinosaurs, farm them for bones and turn them in to get a neat mount and pet. I think we should focus on how cool that spectral porcupine looks instead of the bone amount :)
This patch is going to be amazing! I can't wait to nab a mount(s) and pets. And the reputation is going to be much easier on alts and new players coming to Pandaria.
I want to see what these Secrets of the Empire are. I'm thinking they're raid drops...I just hope they're also LFR drops, because if they require real, actual raiding, I get the feeling this is where 85% of everyone's Legendary quest chain meets its end.
Hey, look at the bright side. At least they don't stack to 20
I don't know... the only other way to purchase Spirit of Harmony right now is with 600 CP. I'm not saying that's a valid comparison, but it makes me worry a bit on how often these bones will drop, to say nothing of gathering 10999 of them, or the bag space required for such an effort. As for the rewards themselves, they're different, but only just so. I'll get them regardless, but a transparent Porcupette and the Ivory Raptor's twin don't really excite me. At least we get to hunt dinosaurs! However, the legendary questline really excites me, and I hope both that and the new Thunder Isle reputations continue the story told with DO / OS.
That's...a lot of bones and @#$% to gather.
OK so, Do you have to get certain rep up BEFORE you are able to come to/unlock this island?
Am i the only one that thinks the porcupines are utterly HIDEOUS?
Mists of Grindaria.(yes I know WoW has always been grindy, but I'm seeing a theme emerge in the MoP content here...)
