When I was but a young gnome, knee-high to a, well, pretty much anyone else, I cast a jealous eye on any human that had the privilege of riding a Black Stallion. It was a horse! It was BLACK! It wasn't available from the regular horse vendor! So I quested, and turned in runecloth, and I queued for countless Alterac Valleys (this was when you had to go stand in front of the PvP queuer-dwarf; I at least didn't have to hike up to Alterac). And it came to pass that I saw in my chat log "You are now exalted with Stormwind". And I rode my thoroughly inadequate Mechanostrider to a flight point, and flew to Menethil Harbor, and bought my BLACK STALLION.And then I rode it down to Karazhan to show off to my guildies, and they were all politely unimpressed, and encouraged me to keep leveling so I could come raid with them.
I have been working hard towards the 'Loremaster' and 'the Insane' titles. Super stoked to get them and use them!
Finally getting Raven Lord to drop from Sethekk Halls.
"Undying" title back in the ICC days Good Group of Players just trying not to die while taking on the world
Ever since i started playing in BC I wanted the Resonating Black Scarab. It would be great if blizzard would open that back up again to those old schoolers who know (and care) about vanilla rare mounts
I wish there was still a way to get atiesh. Medivh was my favorite character in wow ever since the first warcraft game. sadly i didnt start playing until wotlk and it was removed long before i had a chance at it.
My Old Rank 13 title!
After months of farming Anzu, got my Raven Lord's reins during a liquor induced moment of zen. Same thing happened with my Swift Zulian Tiger. Although I think the most exciting thing I ever acquired was the heroic Flame Kitty Staff, and my whole guild exploded into whoops and congratulations!
My favorite thing i got was Muradin's Favor that a friend gave me. It was the only thing i wanted since i started WoW and saw someone with it.
My proudest, and most shocking, was getting "The Undying" during an 8man pug in mid-ToC. We were just going for the 8man achieve, and ended up with a nice new title that none of us had really planned for. That, and finally finishing off Shadowmourne on my main. Only need another 18 shards, but it's hard to find people that want to go these days.
The "Light of Dawn" title, not hard to get, just Love that title :)
Getting my first epic mount on my first lvl 60 a NE Hunter after months and months and fricking months, of farming Satyr's in Azshara and earning that 1000gold all on my own. Was just flipping awesome to sit there on it and just admire it *laugh* I still ride it on that Hunter even if I don't really play her anymore *chuckle*
Mine, was when my guild finally got Hand of A'dal pre nerfs. :D
Probably completing Blackfathom Deeps as the first dungeon I have ever done.
Glory of the Hero achievement/Red Proto Drake back in Lich King!
I think what i want most thats still obtainable is the Insane in the membrane achivement. but man its one hell of a grind
Getting my Disgusting Oozeling! I've been wanting that ever since my first toon was level 30-something. When I finally got it, I was over the moon!
Back before The Shattering I was farming Zul Gurub every week for the Zulian Tiger. One day I was lucky enough to have it drop on my Paladin! Then just for the lols I ran it again right after on my druid and it dropped again! My jaw hit the floor. Two Zulian Tigers on the same day, from back to back runs, all within about 20 minutes. That was an Epic 20 minutes.
Honestly, it was getting my Dreadsteed on my Lock at 60. Back when it was a pain in the ass. Out of all of my mounts I think is still suits her the best.
Guild level 25. It was so much teamwork!
