Take the reins of one of Pandaria’s most majestic and rare beasts, the Swift Windsteed, and it is said that good fortune will follow. Dart across the heavens on a silver cloud as fast as your riding skill allows. Once purchased from the Blizzard Store, the mount will be available to all present and future characters for a single Battle.net® account.
FINALLY! a mount that uses the proper lead when cantering... i despaired of ever seing one. the movement of every other four hooved creature drove me a little batty because the rear and front did not move together like a real animal would... improper lead is uncomfortable to sit and unbalances the real animal so.... im glad its finally been corrected. when i buy this creature (sky-goat cavalry? wtf...) it will probably be the only mount i use-- unless blizzard corrects all the other hooved ones movements!...though it is really ugly... it might grow on me?
I like it but there's that many mounts in the game now that I'm just going to wait until there next 50% off weekend or whatever comes along. Don't care if that's 6 months away.
I have bought all of the mounts and pets so far, but I won't be buying this one. I liked the fact that the store-bought mounts were shared by every toon on the account, and that was worth me paying real-world money for them. Now that almost all mounts are account-bound, a mount would have to be pretty dang awesome and not the ugliest thing I've ever seen if Blizz wants an extra 25 bucks... Just like the new book battle pet, when you can run off to Dalaran crater and catch a book pet that looks almost exactly the same.
They could have released a unique cloud serpent or something, but no, they decided to go with this.
I like this mount, I like a few others think it is a Kirin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qilin also http://retrorpg.wordpress.com/2011/04/13/ki-rin-qilin-or-kirin/ . I first saw one in the 1977 D & D Monster Manuel and had drawn one for art class in High School. Think it is a good representation of one good job Blizzard.
I love it!<3
I'll be honest. I really want it. I'll be a liar. This mount is terrible! I'll definitely be getting this ASAP.
If you don't like it, don't buy it. Seriously. I think they did a great job on the design.
I can't be the only one who thinks it's disgusting to sell a mount for 25 dollars. It should be, at most, 5 dollars. All it does is look pretty; there's nothing special about it and it's certainly not needed for any achievement. Ya you get a feat of strength, but really, are you going to drop half the price of a decent, full length game JUST for a single mount? The answer for a lot of chumps is, sadly, a big "yes".
I was Loving the body with all this badass armour and details. Then I saw its face. Personally I think the head ruins it. However I do agree it is a better alternative the the Celestial steed. I don't really like the Celestial mounts.
Ok umm....i understand marshal art pandas are one thing seeing you had it in past books and peace and all, but blizzard, FLYING GOATS ON CLOUDS? Who's gonna PAY or that?
OMG, this thing is as ugly as my ex-gf.
You kidding me ?One Creapy Blizz employer take his work with him home at Christmasand let his 4 year kid designe a new mount...Look great for a 4 year's work but to implant it in a game like Wow ?Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.........................!i Wont buy it and even if some one gift it to me i wont use it.Happy new year "Evv.... :( "
It's such an ugly mount lol.
Sooooooo, I wonder who at blizzard is on drugs...This thing looks absolutely ridiculous....
i don't get all the hate for this mount i think it's quite interesting for a few reasons. one being it dosen't scream pallidan or priest since it's not overly shiny and two it looks like it would fit well being used by a shaman class due to the thunder cloud it rides upon. the facial area is a little odd but overall it's not that bad.
