If you want to farm this i suggest doing it after the server reset on Wednesday its the best time.
Guess as Hunters they said go to hell. That sucks.
Nice to see someone finally made a fully supported guide for this! While I can't speak for the other two original finders/compilers, I have to say that this is awesome! Very well done guide.Hope my and the other two's posts helped some in making this! :)
insanely slow respawn times :(
Very nice guide. Easy to work most of the locations into farming routes. At least that's what I've been doing while I herb.
Don't camp them. If you circle around, you actually have a higher chance of bumping into some of them rather than camping each one continuously. I've seen people take the camping route, and I've done the flying route. I had completed mine (needed 10 more, found 10 before this guide while exploring/questing on my own) in less than 4 hours, and checking in on the spots that were camped by people - the same campers were still there, waiting for respawn.Of course, if you REALLY want a particular one, camping is better, but if you don't care which you get for the title - like I did (I'm not huge into alting and my char already has raid gear, and they're useless transmogs for me as I'm a hunter) - just spin around checking all points. Take a clockwise or counterclockwise course around Pandaria, take out of the question those which are camped, and go for it outside of peak hours, and you'll have it soon enough. Good luck!
Looking at all this cool stuff leaves me with just one question. Where is the Hunter Bow?
This guide is outstanding! I'm having confusion over something though: So, I've done all of the other achievements and now I'm working on "Is another man's treasure." I've found two of the items listen in the LostTreasures (awesome addon for this btw) addon, yet it didn't count those within the 20 that I need to find. Does anyone mind letting me know if there are only certain ones that count toward this specific achievement? I really appreciate the help, I just started treasure hunting and I'm addicting and funnily enough I'm almost done. Just 20 more haha! ;o)
Great guide! I was able to get Relic hunter in a little less that 12 hours. Thanks for making it.
Totally awesome guide. TYVM :)
click the cut to read more probably...just is letting you know there is more information below the cut
The nelf with the wings, is a rogue, the wings come from the legendary daggers which come from Dragon Soul
I also found the Ancient Pandaren Mining Pick at 44.2 28.61.
The coordinates for the Cache of Pilfered Goods is incorrect. It is at 43.57 37.46./way 43.57 37.46 Cache of Pilfered Goods
I didn't get credit for the Youngol Fire Carrier.
Can someone please tell me if these are quests are not... Does an NPC have to give you these so you can start looking for this stuff?
No quests, you just find them lying at those locations (if you're lucky). Some of them have hidden "FLAG" quests; they just mean you can only do it on one character once. Ever.
Awesome guide, worked perfectly. Thanks!
There are more treasures, not listed in this guide. Unfortunately I can't recall their names but I have found one in the Veiled Stair (on the 'viewing balcony'), Jade Forest (a little island where the river ends in the north), Valley of the Four Winds (on the eastern coast, adjacent to Jade Forest) and in a cave/passageway under a mountain in Kun-Lai Summit. If I recall correctly, all of them were junk items you could sell for a lot of gold.
