Where do I get the pet that supports the victims of the typhoon that recently hit the Philippines?
Wait, there are places outside of the US who also suffer from natural disasters?
I agree with what you are trying to say, and I do think the pet/s they sell should perhaps be a little more flexible with regards to the charities they benefit, especially in the wake of two such tragedies being right on top of each other.

If I'm reading that right, there's no cap on the amount they're donating to the relief effort. Good on them! It always gets my goat when companies set a time period and have a dollar cap on what they're donating, because you know they'll end up blowing past the cap in the first few days.
how much money got donated to japan from the hippogryph? just curious
i unfortunately wait till the weekend to get mine since thats when i get paid. Now all we need is the windsteed mount
In 2011, the Cenarion Hatchling enabled World of Warcraft players to raise over $1,900,000 in support of the American Red Cross's Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami relief efforts.
While awesome that means only about 190,000 pets were bought. I'm surprised it was so low. Perhaps with the introduction of the Pet Battles since that time it could result in higher quantity of purchases this go around.
Oh, and when they sold their Server Blades they donated to St. Jude Children's Hospital, this is their
Well realize that 10 bucks is a lot to pay for most for a virtual pet even if it goes to a good cause. Also it only lasts a limited time so if someone wants the pet but doesn't have 10 bucks to blow at the time they miss out on helping during the charity portion. So I'm sure many more Cenarion Hatchlings have sold since then.
