Yet at the end, I did refer to your answer in regards to Vanilla; I saw nodes 'stolen' from me all the time while out and about in the world, especially before I got my epic mount at 60: This isn't something new, the only thing that CRZ did was increase the number of people out there, which would have happened if servers were merged or any of the other so called 'fixes' the players like to think up for this.CRZ has it's problems, but it also has it's good sides, and to me personally, those good sides out weight the few bad(but then again, I don't think I own a zone so....)
I have personally seen people from other servers in Pandaria. On more than one occasion. Maybe it isn't supposed to happen, but it is.
Basically from what i'm seeing/reading, there's essentially two different camps: PvP camp and PvE camp.Generally what I see from the PvP camp goes something like "CRZ is great, there's tons more people to fight/duel, it has a few bugs but I still love it", etc. etc. Then we have, from PvE'ers - "CRZ is bad, it makes my leveling experience slower/less enjoyable, plus it's buggy so I hate it more", etc. etc.Of course, there's also the few PvE'ers who enjoy it for the community aspect, and PvP'ers who dislike it for the extra ganking. Now, the only way I can see this working out for everyone, is to create more servers which are CRZ-enabled, then add the ability to opt-in to CRZ, at which point you are transported to one of the communal servers. Thing is, this can only decrease the population of the original servers which is counterproductive to what Blizzard is trying to accomplish. So, since there are quite a few who do enjoy CRZ, it's going to be hard for Blizzard to just take the feature away (and from what i'm seeing, they really don't want to anyway). It's kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don't thing, which Blizzard is used to dealing with. I really hate being the side that's left unhappy though.Another option that still leaves people unhappy, but maybe makes the most people happy, is to enable CRZ for PvP servers only, as the main feature of CRZ is to populate the world for what else but wPvP (you can say it's for other reasons but face it, questing has always been a mostly solo aspect with group quests only as a finale for your rare gear. Plus there's the fact that MoP itself is meant to promote Alliance vs. Horde, which is hard to do if you never encounter anyone).
For a different perspective on CRZ.It is kind of fun you see more people. The world feels alive. Even if they just fly by. Stand near an NPC or whatever. My server has become more vacant and this brings back so much fun. If you have a nicely populated server you might not realize but on low pop the entire world is empty, everything is up (spawns, nodes) and you never see anyone while questing. That seems fair. So how about this?IF YOU WANT MORE PEOPLE AROUND TO PLAY WITH, PLAY ON A MORE POPULOUS SERVER.I chose the server I play most on because it was a low population server. Long amounts of time seeing nobody but the NPCs was heavenly. If I wanted to be around people, there were my other toons to play on.I assume that there are reasons for people to choose the server(s) they do--high pop/low pop, pve or pvp, normal or RPG. But with CRZ, there's no real distinction. Take a bunch of people from one server, place them on another, it's a sure bet that they will bring their playstyle with them. Which means that my choice of servers amounts to a crapshoot. My server (meaning the one I reside on, not own) is now overrun with all the people that I spent money to get away from. I'm not worried about MY kill, MY node, as much as MY SANITY. I come to Azeroth to unwind and get away from RL BS. Well, now I can't--and about one in ten of the invaders knows how to play nice with others.Seriously, folks. There's nothing wrong with the idea of playing on one's own server. Last I checked, there are very few locked servers. Instead of having people from one server plow over another's like locusts (which they do, and mess up the world economy in the process) why not come up with incentives to roll toons on those servers with extremely low populations? Vanity pets/faction reputation bonuses seem to work. But PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE WHAT WE ARE SAYING just because you don't like what we're saying. The people who hate CRZ have rights, too. And I don't just mean the right to cancel our subscriptions.
You do have your right to your own opinions, just as the people who do enjoy the CRZ have the right to their own opinions. And there is still a distinction: Your economy is only effected by your server, and since Pandaria is still only CRZ when it comes to RealID, the 'plague of locusts' are not there. If you got sniped by someone node hunting in the Valley of Four Winds, he was from your server.
