Cool beans, ty for the heads-up Bliz ^_^
Honestly, they really took forever to say nothing.
Honestly, they really took forever to say nothing.Care to elaborate? They seem to have at least taken note of the issues that the playerbase themselves have mentioned and (hopefully) the fixes they have will hold for now.
Ok that's cool and all. But I can care less about seeing more people when I'm leveling. I level solo regardless. I want more population for more raiding, RBG's, better economy, etc. This cross realm zones thing does not fix low population servers in my opinion. While sitting in Orgrimmar on my server (Gorgonnash) it's rare to have more than 40 or 50 people on when /who is typed and most of them are low level/leveling. No end game content happens unless you're in an extremely dedicated guild or group or some kind. For the less-than-hardcore-players, such as myself, we never get into end game content. LFR isn't enough, we want to do the real deal. I don't know enough to come up with suggestions other than merge some low population servers together. But that is why I pay Blizzard, so they can figure that stuff out. Figure out how to make your customers happy, all of them, not some of them.
exclude rare spawn zones from xrealm mechanic. it is very annoying...
I found a bug, with my mage, but I like it. Not gonna report it. Don't want it fixed. It is cool.:P
I wish they would address the issue of level 85s spawning in low level areas where lower level characters are intended to level. I love the increase of world pvp, but being level 48 and an 85 keeps ganking you and everyone he sees over and over is not PvP.
i kinda dont like it before this started i was doing the argent tourney and hardly saw anyone didnt have to wait for mobs to respawn well now i have that problem even while im waiting someone will still just jump in there and wipe out my mobs dont care whos there first
I already hate this. In the last few days I have had to literally queue to kill mobs to complete a quest. A line of people from different realms, lining up to kill a mob, I kid you not. How is this a good idea? Coming from a massively populated server (silvermoon eu) i'm used to a lot of competition for things like mob kills and gathering, but it really is ridiculous at the moment. I picked as many herbs in 2 hours the last few trips as I would in half an hour a few weeks ago. Say what you like about spawn rates, but I'm really not used to seeing 3-5 people fight over a herb in uldum. For the non-assertive (read: non-aggressive) types like me, I'm having to fly by 9 out of 10 herbs while i watch pile ups on them (also just like to note that this was around 2.30am server time). Things are getting nasty. Swarming is the word I'd use. It reeeeeally needs to be trimmed back imo.edited for typo
exclude rare spawn zones from xrealm mechanic. it is very annoying...no offense but there will always be competition on Rare spawns nodes quest requirements. Just because those who on low pop servers benefit from lack of players, that isnt intended. In the end its an MMO whether you like it or not.Now if there is ppl abusing things like mentioned in the blue post from blizz then that is getting fixed.i kinda dont like it before this started i was doing the argent tourney and hardly saw anyone didnt have to wait for mobs to respawn well now i have that problem even while im waiting someone will still just jump in there and wipe out my mobs dont care whos there firstYou know you could always talk to someone doing the same quest as long as they are the same faction. I once asked a guy in deepholme if he needed help with a quest, he was from a different realm.I think CRZ is an opportunity to work together better as a community unfortunately the people see the negatives instead

Just because those who on low pop servers benefit from lack of players, that isnt intended. In the end its an MMO whether you like it or not. That's not really the problem. the real problem is finding a rare spawn on a flight path while you're still on your realm, then finding it gone when you transition to a CRZ, unless they fixed that and I didn't notice.
So the real question is...What zone will be best for world pvp?
Ah, I thought (party leader realm = base realm) was as intended. I hope it can still work like that in Dalaran so people can invite their offserver friends to Club Trix on WrA :) For the most part, it's been working that way so far.
Honestly, they really took forever to say nothing.Care to elaborate? They seem to have at least taken note of the issues that the playerbase themselves have mentioned and (hopefully) the fixes they have will hold for now.Not really, I was just halfass quoting Homer Simpson but basically this is stuff people have been trying to hammer into blizzards head for a while now and they're just now acknowledging it. After hearing that bs interview with GC by Wowcrendor, I just don't have much faith that blizzard will do the right thing when it comes to CRZ.
Whats your way of fixing the rare spawn problem blizzard thats what us mount collectors wish to know.
Whats your way of fixing the rare spawn problem blizzard thats what us mount collectors wish to know.Probably not the best place to ask the question since this is really just a fan site and not an official blizzard forum. I'm not in to rare spawn/mount collecting, myself but I do think that it is an issue that needs to be addressed. They also need to get off their back side and take care of the report/ignore feature. So much if this are things you'd think they would anticipate but it really just appears like they have little forethought and that they simply ignore player input.Blizzard reminds me of Churchill's quote about America. "Americans Blizzard can always be counted on to do the right thing...after they have exhausted all other possibilities."
They did address the ´rare spawn´ issue. Basically they said that the rate of rare spawns was abnormally high on low population servers, the spawn rates were set with higher realm populations in mind.. which this fixes.I am not going to lie, I am very disappointed with CRZ because very early in my playing career here, I rerolled on a low population server for just those two issues... nodes and rare spawns. One of my favorite things while questing was coming across a silver. It is one of the few things that made me kill extra mobs while questing. In any event, this is a change that is for the betterment of the game. Little things like rare spawns and ore dwarf in comparison to seeing zones full of people again. For a new player, that is a HUGE thing.
Being able to invite friends from other realms and quest together in zones is awesome.Preeeetty much everything else about CRZ ends up feeling annoying or incredibly inconvenient. This feature was not thoroughly tested and definitely feels like a half-assed feature.
I always figured if I wanted to do something and meet new people that pugs were the way to go. doing this won't really make new friends I think as people tend to stick with there own.
Plus odds are more people just means more stupid in org and stormwind chat....sighs...Trade chat turned into barrens
