I feel like this goes against the very nature of an MMO but if people want it, so be it.Honestly though I really dislike the concept of not being able to see who in my guild is online or not. During raids each of them had better have their status set to 'Online' or 'Busy.'
I was just thinking the same thing lol, i will be making macros to search for all of my friends character names XD
I think this is a good option for everyone to have. Not sure why so many are against it. MMOs are a form of social networking and most social networking sites have plenty of options for privacy. I've been fortunate enough to have a second account that serves as my antisocial ME time! ;-P lol
Hmm, I already have this feature. It's called "/dnd" or "/busy".
So glad they finally did this. It really is a simple matter of, "if you don't like it, don't use it". I will definitely utilize it though, as I seem to have friends who don't realize what "DND" means. And I'm certainly not going to remove a friend over something like that, or be rude to them. I don't understand all the vehemency against it, actually (I've heard some people say some very nasty things about it). All it really boils down to is, sometimes I just want some serious alone time. Also sometimes I just want to play secret guilty pleasure alts. >.>
Best news EVER! THANK YOU THANK YOU! There are times I just want to log on to a lowbie toon on some other server and play without having to be social, run people, make glyphs etc. Thank you for this option!
Ohh yeah! at last!
YAY! I can't wait, I've been wanting something like this implemented for years now! DND doesn't work for the a-holes & smartasses "disturbing you while you DND" *does happy dance*
That would be awesome.
I see no reason to use it. But, I'm not against having it. If people want to use it - go for it. I can't think of any negative reasons for having it implemented...
