No bows? :(
I am mildly curuious, as some of your locations seem to be word for word taken from my comment in the Lost and Found Acheivement's page, did you borrow any of what I collected? You also seem to be missing most of the same Items I am... Not that I mind if you did, you have done an excellent job with this, and it could be merely a coincidence. That and you do seem to have a couple more items than I did, granted It has been a few weeks since I updated it, so more has likely been found.Although, I feel I should point out a few errors that are easy fixes in your guide.1. That the Ancient Pandaren Mining Pick is NOT in the Greenstone Village, but in the Greenstone Mine. That could mislead people heh...2. Your Bannana Infused Rum info is off slightly in your code, causing the location to be in the item name, and the Description to be in the Location tab.3. My post has the Locations of the Pandaren Fishing Spear as well as Many of the 'Treasure Chest' like item's locations. It also has many more clarified locations and some coordinates that you may want to use.
You will possibly not find any weapons that are not either daggers (rogues), polearms (druids) or ranged (rangers) with agility.
This makes me wish I were on a PvE server....
That's a really fun addition!
I think this will be fun =)@Neurolanis- I'm not sure how much time you've spent farming mounts, pets, vanity items, etc., but I assure you that the vast majority of them require very little skill, but loads of wasted time and/or great luck. Things like Archaeology, the Hyacinth Macaw, Wintersaber (the old grind, anyway), Grey Camel, the Sea Turtle, Sewer Rat, Argent Tournament, etc. are meant to reward long hours played and a strong tolerance for tedious activity, and have nothing to do with skill or effort. It's the rarity of the spawn/drop rate of these items that make them hard to get, and not the actual process of getting them. Yes, someone could ride around all these spots and maybe get one. Or they could camp a spot for days to assure they get one. The difference between firing 3 shots into a mob for your rare, or hitting a tame button for 8 seconds (for non challenge rare tames),and clicking an item to activate it isn't that huge in terms of effort. It will be how rarely they spawn, and how easy they are going to be to miss if you don't know what you're looking for, that will make them rare.
Very good that Blizzard is making treasure finding.
does anyone have any idea how long these items take to respawn once looted?
Found the Lucky Pandaren Coin today in the water fountain but not achievement. Maybe it has to be a certain quality item as that was just grey...? If that's the case then the article language may need to be updated to reflect that.
I concur with Maulis425; I have found four items from the list in Jade Forest: the Stash of Gems, the Pandaren Coin, the Pandaren Stone and Wodin's dagger. ONLY the dagger has counted towards an achievement.
So I found like 2-3 things ;o. Guess I rushed too much. I prefer killing Rare Spawns anyways.
