wasn't shadowflame removed from the game and it's effect baked into hand of gul'dan?
wasn't shadowflame removed from the game and it's effect baked into hand of gul'dan?Yes and No. Shadowflame is a still a separate spell but it is casted by Hand of Gul'dan rather then directly by the warlock. So it was combined with Hand of Gul'dan but it is more like Hand procs shadowflame rather then Hand applying a slow etc.
Challenge mode set = Illidan Stormrage
Challenge set...O_O*starts screaming like the fangirl she is*

If you look, there's no resource cost attached to it - it's the debuff from casting . The picture shown may be from an earlier build.
$(%*I#)%#$%( patch for EU is 1 day later >:C

This is awesome. Enough said.
Illidans horns Awesome for the Locks how about an extra spec for hunts something like Demon Hunter to bring people back
Go post in my thread in the Warlock forums demanding this! It should absolutely be a minor glyph!
I recently stated that i was going to quit playing but after doing some PvP on my Human Warlock, i just can't.Just as i thought Unbound Will and Every Man for Himself is just sick! You get 2 free trinkets, one at the cost of 20% health but pffft, you lose more falling from the very top of Lion's Inn.The one thing that upset me is that i can no longer cast Shadow Bolt as an Affliction Warlock. *tear
All I have to say is that based on 5 dps specs I have played on beta.. Affliction locks are the easiest BY FAR to level. That whole improved soul-swap things makes leveling so easy. I was using the grimoired Imp and things were just dying so fast.Affliction was always the easiest spec/class to quest with, bar none. Infinite mana and multi target damage forever.
what happened with Death Coil? is replaced by Mortal Coil talent?
They must have had the glyph of nightmares effect in the works for a LONG time - that lock is running on the old water texture
@PayneAS:I for once, totally agree with edarien. Do you not, normally? I'm not really a common poster on these boards, so now I'm confused. As for the difference in "fel" vs "demon" and them being "different." I disagree. http://www.wowwiki.com/FelSo does the wiki. Warlocks are, traditionally speaking, either Orcs whose Shamanistic ways were abandoned for communion with demons in place of the elements or Arcane using mages who craved more power. That it, tapping into the arcane, which attracts demons if we'll remember it was the Highborne's usage of arcane magics that led Sargeras and the Legion to Azeroth to begin with, and finding that it's power simply isn't enough. Through further digging into arcane power, mages are able to tap into demonic, or fel, magic. Usually this corrupts the mage and changes their personality to one driven to serve their new demonic master(s), but some are able to tame the power and use it for their own. Us, the "adventurers" who play a Warlock are of the type who tame the power. We are uncorrupted by it, still able to use demonic, fel, magics to save the world rather than destroy it. There is a reason that Carrion Swarm is green. Demons use fel magic. It's simply a darker, corrupted arcane magic. That's all "fel" is. By using "demonic magic" all you're really doing is using the magic that demons use which is, again, corrupted/less-refined arcane magic. It's the difference, in a way, of crude oil vs gasoline. One is refined and able to be used with less pollution. The other has impurities, is more raw and natural and, as such, has the ability to corrupt the user. So, as I said and others agreed, Warlocks should have green fire. And this isn't one of those "I want green fire, so make it so," arguments. I don't like Destruction, never have, and with the new toggle for Demonology, I'm not really into that as much, either. So I, an Affliction Warlock with no fire magic (I use Soul Harvest over Rain of Fire), wouldn't be slinging green fire. However, all the Warlock's I've talked to who do play it either 1) Don't care because they're not into lore or 2) Want green fire because it suits the character of a Warlock. Look at Felwood, various Outland places/demons, Mal'ganis and other Dreadlords ... All "fel" or "demonic" taint is green in Warcraft. The only exception is the playable Warlock.
Warlocks have the best looking tier set thus far. Jesus, I want to level a Warlock now. <3
