I lol all the way to the bank at raiders who think that just cause its there they HAVE to do it. The idea of gaming is to have fun, so you don't like LFR? Then don't go there, not that hard really.Personally I game to have fun so I do a bit of LFR, a bit of random, a hell of a lot of world/solo achieves, bit of all content, bit of pvp and level alts. There are aspects of the game I don't like (raiding, arena, rated BGs, world pvp) so... ah... I don't do it :)
If you don't have time to raid normal or HC then you don't need the higher ilvl gear in the first place, so i don't see a reason for QQing about the lower ilvl drops from raid finder.
due to life happening, I can't commit to raiding in a guild. I can run lfr as time allows. I'm a little bummed that I will not be at the same ilvl as a hardcore raider, but it's ok as long as I can still see the cotent and if by some strange chance i could jump into a raid and still be competitive. with that being said, a nerfed lfr should have nerfed gear. mabe down the road, a version of lfr that is not nerfed but more strict.
In light of this slight nerf to comparative LFR gear ilvl, it would be nice to see all the content drop in LFR, i.e. weapons and mounts that currently only drop in normal/hc also drop in LFR. They could always have a lower chance of dropping than on normal/hc.
These days, some of the fights in LFR are actually much harder than a regular DS - everyone with any skill/gear at all is doing regular or heroic DS. Dps also queue as heals for LFR to get faster q's (and then proceed to dps). Because of this, I haven't been able to kill Deathwing for weeks - the fight is still tough enough that you can't have just 2 good healers, 2 crappy healers, and a couple dps masquerading as heals for the faster q's.Blizzard should look into this...
I don't think blizz realizes the real problem with LFR. the people there cant do anything right. a better change would be not allowing people in PvP gear, or have people complete all the dungeons/scenarios before they can queue, as people see LFR as just another dungeon that they can just blow through, and while this is true for the hard core raiders it is far from the truth for most other people.also a 10 player mode would be nice
I admit, I am one of those people who go into LFR and need on anything I can need on. I'm sure that angers some people. I do it though to prevent those who should not be there from getting gear they don't deserve. When I win a piece I look at all the people that can equip it. I look at their performance and their gear. I give that piece I won to someone who put in the effort and actually needs the item as an upgrade. example :Boss dies, caster staff drops, I win the roll and have better Mage pulled 14k dps and is wearing pvp gearPriest pulled 22k dps wearing pve gear and has a 378 weaponWarlock pulled 20k dps in pve gear using a 397I'm giving that staff to the priest because he/she put in the effort, showed some skill, and truly needs the item.I may have just angered the mage and lock by preventing them from getting it, but w/e I want to help ppl who deserve it get the gear. And every time I do this I hope those ppl do the same when they don't need something. Pass on the kindness, keep the baddies from taking the gear. : )
I care more about fixing people needing on stuff they already have in LFR....
