World of Warcraft Patch 5.0.4
The latest patch notes can always be found at http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/patchnotes/
Its a change to how gold drops from mobs in instances. How it works now, if you do MC with 40 people, rag drops 160g, and everyone gets 4g. If you solo MC, rag drops 4g, and you still only get 4g. Its so less gold is introduced into the game world. The annoying part about this is that they added a ton of new gold sinks in mists, while lowering gold being generated. Just one of these would have solved a lot of problems, but both means even more problems. GG Blizz.
i sincerely doubt the validity of your claim.
Jesus christ. There's been a pretty large spike in bugs and glitches after this patch. Hopefully that gets fixed soon. What I'm really stunned about is the major revamping. Dumbing down the talent tree? Why change something that isn't broken? People love it when, after a period of time researching what spells are best for their character, they finally make a decision and feel proud of it. It's one of the many things that sets this game apart from other mmorpg's.This patch is an absolute slap in the face to the dedicated vets out there.
Heh just a way of saying, it has happened before. I can understand those who are a little leery of the new talents, but it is true that they do offer more of a true choice then the trees did: Yes, there were times in the trees that you could mix and max, and make the hybrid specs...but said hybrid specs weren't as useful as everyone remembers(well except for maybe the Balance/Restoration one for Druids, I can give the hybrids lovers that one at least), but once they dropped it down to the smaller and smaller trees, those ideals went away, since there were always the 'duh' talents to pick and the so-called choice really wasn't.Myself, I still like the new talents, and I'm carrying around a stack of the needed regent to swap them out as required depending on the fight(done that a few times already on a Balance druid).
So, I still have 2 RAF mounts, which means they're useless now? :T
Your right Tenjen, the throw is just as effective; I did notice it. I think my frustration was in that Blizzard removed the ability but allowed for the equipment of the unusable weapon. And some of my words were out of frustration because my rogue wouldnt even "pistol-wip" the target with it. They probably kept the ability to equip these for RP. And it was fun building my own gun and using it. Now it's just, "COOL, I built a gun! So...I guess I'll give it to some hunter since it's useless to me."And your right about the tallents. But, Blizzard DID remove some of the tallents, but only to redefine them into other options. Most of what seems tobe changed is the ability to maneuver or evade. They've made it so your forced to fight "toe-to-toe" with your opponent, which I don't believe defines the rogue well. Still most of what was removed is restated in additional abilities as you progress. I had a style of fighting that I didn't want to change.*A little better definition by Blizzard of the removal of these tallents and how they would change the operation would have curbed the frustration for most people. It would not have taken anymore of thier time to do so, and would have eliminated half the discussion currently going on over the MoP expansion in this and any other site or thread.
The Fall of Theramore scenario sounds really cool, but after reading the Tides of War book I'm not sure if I want to do the Horde side, but then again it sounded like the majority of Horde didn't want to do it either, heh.. the mini mana bomb will be interesting to see, but I kinda wish it was something else. I can't wait until I can kill Garrosh... he makes me ashamed to be a part of the Horde and I love the Horde! >:(
I remember somebody official saying "Whitemane's chapeau for everybody!" Glad I already got mine just in case. That hat that drops now is truly hideous.
Wow! Awesome artwork of Jaina! :O I wonder where can I get it :D
