Can someone clarify whether or not non rated bg wins will still award Conquest points? In the post it states that Arenas and Rated Bgs reward conquest, but it doesn't say anything about regular bg wins.Still should, but you'll have to wait for MoP to find out for sure. We'll find out next week, but I'm gonna go ahead and guess we wont. Blizzard is made of humans, and humans make oversights, them not mentioning if random BGs will award Conquest could be one of them.Of course I could be wrong about this, but my gut tells me no, we wont. Besides, what are you gonna do with them anyways? all current gear purchasable with Conquest will be instead purchasable with honor. And prior to MoP anyone still having left-over Conquest will also get it converted to honor.So.......... if you won't be able to use it to buy anything, and you wont be able to keep it to use it post-MoP why would they allow you to still earn it?.Simple logic.
Rank you can't earn Valor or Conquest again till MoP comes out. And I can't see them taking it away from regular BG's either in all honesty, especially since unlike with the VP, there hasn't been a new mention of an alternate way to gain Conquest in the expansion.
I was referring to whether-or-not we'll receive conquest points per regular bg win after September 25 or 5.1, like we do now. I was not referring to between August 28 and September 25. I'm hoping we still get the 50 conquest per win after September 25.
Which is why the answer is should but we'll know for sure in a month.
