Thank Goodness we can Transmog them. O.o
I'm sure that you're not supposed to hold that coffin lid sheld like that. lol (see 3D model)
Is anyone else curious about the lack of agility swords/maces/axes? Did they post about this and I miss it, because I know rogues and monks should both be able to use them unless they changed it again like they did with daggers for monks earlier... if anyone could shed some light on this it would be appreciated.
My question is that all the gear? I know I havent looked at the loot tables for the new raids that in depth but their no AGI weapons minus a dagger (rogues) and fist weapons (enhance/monk(?)) So no Axes or even maces with agi on them?Agility axes and maces are unnecessary. The only ones who need slow one handed agility weapons are enhancement shaman, windwalker/brewmaster monks, and combot rogues, all of whom can use fist weapons. There's no need to add an agility axe or mace to the loot tableIts not about necessity, its about diversity. As someone else before me mentioned, Warriors and Death Knights can both use one-handed axes and swords. So by the same logic you're using, why not just make one? The same then follows for two-handed weapons, and then probably armor. It would become very bland, very quickly. We're just saying that we'd like to see more variety implemented in terms of weapon types, and in my opinion just more weapons to choose from in a tier to begin with. Look back at Naxxaramas, Ulduar, and Icecrown Citadel; we had so many more weapons to choose from aside from our BiS and that variety brought a different fun to the game. Some of it just being more models to look at, but more choice as well leading to levels of side-grades until you finally obtained that BiS piece. I think this argument applies to more than just weapons as well.
Those are some crazy-looking swords. I like how unique everything is.
cool! i don't have to pug TOC anymore
Thank Goodness we can Transmog them. O.oYeah...I always use my old Rhok for transmog purposes. =)
Honestly, the new tier stuff looks like Rainbow Brite threw up all over them. I don't like any of them.I have to agree... I am a tad disappointed in the new models.. especially the Fan Off-hand.. My lock will soon look like a Geisha..
Dangit... I was hoping for The Facebreaker to pop up here.
This is a response to somebody making a comment to the effect of there being no tank-specific one hand weapons in the new raids loot tables: There are none. However, there are plenty of mastery/hit and mastery/exp weapons, and this is the way that Blizz seems to be going for shield tanks. Admittedly, it makes sense: Now that SMF is actually a viable dps spec for warriors and of course there are plenty of frost dk's, what happens to tank weapons that drop once your raid group's shield tank has his/her weapon? DE'd, or used as an offspec weap. This way, your dk, dps warrior or shield tank can make good use of 1h strength weapons. Besides, look at dk tanks... if they're lucky their 2 hander is hit or exp/mastery, or they end up with a weapon like the Experimental Specimen Slicer and have to reforge off the crit. Anyways, hit and expertise are not something that can be ignored by tanks anymore, and besides, the stats on a 1h weapon are so low compared with most pieces of gear that it's not going to hurt a shield tank if their weapon doesn't have an avoidance stat on it, plus, there's always reforging. My guess is that the last raid drop tank-specific weapon we'll see is the Mandible of Beth'tilac from Firelands.
Wish they added some t9 horde lookalikes as alliance quest rewards, some of those are wicked looking. YES! I played Alliance during Wrath, and to be honest, as a Warrior, the Alliance side looks bad ass. Horde? Not so much. I vendored/DE'd what I could, tossed the rest.
